believe it or not, I actually got this glitch in the beta, thank god on my second account. It works on a save by save basis though, as far as I know, because my first account worked fine.

Looks like you'd have to start a new game and delete your old data to continue. That sucks.

Looks like you'd have to start a new game and delete your old data to continue. That sucks. meh, no biggie to me, as long as my levels are published online. I'd advise to back-up your saves regularly, incase this kinda stuff happens.

Lifesaving advice there, from both the creator of the Youtube video and thanks to ryryryan for posting the video. I'll keep this in mind and -try- to resist the temptation of attempting the glitch (Though I might just make an alt character to test glitches with. If I can, I'd put little "Crash Test Dummy" stickers on them too. XD yay for Crash Test sackboys. Seriously though, thanks for sharing this information with us. I'll know not to do that until Mm have addressed the issue (which without a doubt they will, because they're awesome like that. ^^)

no problem guys big thanks to the guy who made the video. Didn't realised it was as severe as messing up your whole save! EDIT: To get rid of the glitch, you have to delete your save and start again.

EDIT2: You could copy your savegame at certain moments to you memstick just in cas something like this happens. Highly recommended. Every now and again you should back up your save if you plan on making insane levels.

Basically.... make a huge wheel.... pult a motor bolt on it and put it at max speed. Then grab onto it. I think thats it. What it does is make the game unplayable.... even when resetting it. It will mess up your game file.

What if these levels start popping up as much as the trophy levels? ;/ Wont happen. If someone bought the game, found this glitch and had to delete their save.... they wouldn't remake it and publish it. Nobody would want to ruin the LBP experience if they bought the game.

That is a crazy glitch... I had something a little similar happen when tweaking my level (Sackboy's Mayan Misadventures)... I had a checkpoint attached to a piston (a directional one-time use) to move it after you passed a certain point trekking across a fire-pit (so if died on route, you wouldn't be spawned back on the beginning side with no way across). When testing and purposely dying on route, the game would claim I used up all my lives when I hadn't. I found out that if I slowed the piston down (from the fastest timing), this glitch wouldn't occur. The two things seem strangely related o_O
