I hope that when released, and people "require" it for their levels, there'll be a way to determine that before loading it up, because the MOVE levles are the ones I most especially wish to avoid, since I have no interest in the MOVE at all.2011-01-14 15:01:00

*agreed*
Even though I like the PS Move and stuff, I don't have it and I wouldn't like it if I ran into levels which require it all the time

I hope this is not the DLC MM were talking about when they said "DLC That'll double the create possibilities"
because Move won't do that in the least, I'm not gonna buy a Move >EVER<
I don't like how Things like "Wii" need you to move IRL to play the game, or any thing like that.
most i been ok with is moving the controller to move sackperson around, but that has nothing
to do with the gameplay it self. this however is trying to make people buy something we are fine without.
sure i don't mind people liking move games etc. as that has nothing to do with me,
i don't have to play what i don't want to after all. but i DO PLAY LBP,
and this means there'll be levels on LBP2 i won't be able to play because they are trying
to find new ways to make money from us. sure i don't have to play them levels...
more like i can't even if i wanted to (T_T) But MM could be using their time By making DLC that's useful
and don't force you to buy an over pieced junk in order to use it or
play any levels that'll contain it as part of the gameplay. :/ *mew

Heh, of course a move pack won't increase your creation possibilities if you don't buy move, doesn't mean that it won't happen for other people.... I'd say putting the Move in the hands of the LBP community would be fantastic. You may not see any use for it in a gameplay perspective, but I can bet there are some people out there that will do awesome things with it - I'm still holding out hope that the move has the potential to genuinely make motion controlling more than just a gimmick (which the wii and kinect are essentially unable to do), due to the neat balance of accuracy and abstraction.

And like you said, you don't have to play what you don't want to play, there are plenty of other levels to play, and if you are convinced that Motion controlling is bad, you don't lose out

That depends on creator, there possibility to make PS Move optional, for example for pointing in RTS level or tower defence, you could use analog stick or PS Move

but look of amount of "1 Player levels" that work on multi fine that "Strictly 1 player" that block you but they might work multi with some more efforts it might not be good

@rtm223, Opss look like im not visiting there much ^^'

The only thing that I wouldn't like would be going to a level that looks cool to play and then realizing I have to get my Move controller out. There should be some sort of symbol on the level badge that shows it is a move required level. Kind of like how the versus levels and cinematic levels have a different looking badge.2011-01-14 15:39:00

Maybe they'll put the Move stuff in a creator pack with other things to get people to buy it, even those who aren't interested in Move?

I hope we will still have keyboard and mouse support in the full game for creating with.

I think this will come as a patch maybe along with PS Move pack, since both mouse and PS Move can work as pointing devices. I wouldn't be suppriced if there gonna be PS Move support for creating.

It only seems natural that 'MOVE' level patches would be encapsulated in some glowing blue/red globe, just as MM picks, movies, and competitive levels are differentiated on CraftEArth... I was dead set against the MOVE tbh. I thought it an ill-advised, unthought, reaction to the popularity of Wii. I still haven't unboxed the one from Christmas... but as a lbp creator, if they make a pack, specific to this product, and it helps me get more out of sack's acting... let alone the strategic gameplay possibilities... I'll be all over that!2011-01-14 16:20:00

The only reason to buy a move.... LBP2.
I will get my move, because this really will be awesome. I really belive this will bring more funny gameplay elements to the experience. Some levels dont have to use the move control. But this will be PERFECT for some wonderful ideas of the community.
