So I invite my friends, and they join, but a few seconds after they join I am put back in my pod, and my friends are gone, and I have a message that says "game disappeared."

I get it when mah internets gone, but sometimes lots of story objects and stuff can make my friends dissapear.

Wow, that's bizarre! I've gotten "Error: Game has diverged" a lot, but never a "Game disappeared".

Wow, that's bizarre! I've gotten "Error: Game has diverged" a lot, but never a "Game disappeared". I've had both. Game dissappeared not as much, but one time, I was showing my friend a level, and we kept getting game diverge at the same bit. Everytime. It was very annoying.

I've had "Game does not exist" These all refer to "game" as the game *session* you are currently in, were connected to, or was attempting to connect to. Game disappeared means something along the lines of: "session terminated by X cause" Game does not exist means the session you were looking for does not exist. And Game has diverged means that the session has diverged into two or more due to connection issues. To my knowledge, all only happen during online play.
