So I was wondering, is this a glitch? I found a level where they gave a bunch of sackbots and said they were "rare costumes you could have" one of them was the crown >.>; well you can actually save the costume FROM the sackbot then put the costume on, even if you don't own it. I think this is a really good idea, to let people share costumes... but I don't think its such a good idea to let people use costume pieces they don't own. It should tell you the same error that it does in LBP when you try to use a costume piece you don't own. (In LBP1 I got the GOTY edition, then sometime later I tried to use my original version disk and it wouldn't let me put my costume back on, it said I didn't own... (then it gave a list))

If you mean put the extra GOTY edition costumes on in the beta, the reason it isn't working is because it's just a bug in the beta. They will be fixing the problem with sharing rare costumes and I'm guessing it can't be worn if it contains costume pieces or stickers/decorations from DLC that you don't own.

oh the GOTY DLC works now. Im saying that it should give that same error for costumes you dont own

Sharing content you don't own is a glitch, and Mm have said it's being patched (in fact, it probably already has been patched in the latest build of the game). I do like the ability to share costumes, though. Like if you make an awesome custom costume with stickers and everything, you could share it as long as whoever is receiving it has the required DLC.

To keep it fair, they should have it like the object sharing in lbp 1. Have it where you can distrubute costumes to others, but don't allow them to acess it until they have aquired all the pieces used to make those costumes in the game or DLC

I don't think so :> it's quite massive feature and now they aiming to make LBP2 gold, so only fixing bugs and finish what is unfinished

Im pretty sure they are going to fix it... you can get crowns and DLC for free if they dont
