Super elevator is... weak.

So I am trying to build a dive into a underwater cave thing and need my elevator to go extremely high but when I try to get it to go that high, the elevator booth starts to slide over into the wall which makes it look horrible and also makes it an ineffective elevator. Looks like you got a dodgy piston. Another solution will be to use a directional winch and a spring that is stiff but set at 0.0. Make sure you are using the grid (Start button > Small/Medium/Large Grid) when creating the elevator, the shaft and attaching the piston. Assuming you are already doing that, give the elevator some extra surface to connect with in the elevator shaft: if your elevator is a thin pad of just 1 block tall, then it can easily go rogue. | 2010-12-21 09:55:00 Author: Antikris Posts: 1340 |
