Hey there Recently my old PS3 Broke due to the Yellow light of death. I did not manage to do a data restore. But i have got a new PS3 slim 160gb ready for Christmas, But it has none of my data. When I had LBP I had all the trophys except the create one, So i aced all levels and got a gifts, Will i have to do all of this again? Acing all the levels and collecting them all and will i lose my trophys. Thanks Philip_over9000 | 2010-12-12 16:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
I'm not sure, but I think that your trophies can be restored through PSN account. But you'll have to collect/ace everything again if you don't have a backup. | 2010-12-12 17:51:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |
You could send it to ps or try getting the hard drive out and send it to a computer shop and get the data put on a mem stick.Thats why i back mine up on a memory stick,it would be terribly helpful if mine ever crashed!God forbid lol! hope this helps i dont like to see people repeat themselves :s | 2010-12-14 07:12:00 Author: robotixpro Posts: 354 |

(games, data, levels, etc..). Then I transferred everything from old ps3 to new ps3 slim with ethernet cable (took 3.5 hours but it worked!) Only problem is the "My Moon" levels were not copied to new ps3. So, I am gonna publish them first from old system then i will copy them from new system. Hope this helps! | 2011-01-08 20:44:00 Author: primo468 Posts: 4 |
publish them first from old system then i will copy them from new system. That should work for me then, and I can always unpublish them. Thanks. I was wondering what to do. | 2011-01-09 08:26:00 Author: Super_Dork_42 Posts: 1874 |
1. Can't you restore your PS3 system data by pulling the HDD disk out of the PS3 and sliding it into your new one? 2. You should have your Create trophy and, I'm guessing 100% Complete because I see you have 30 creator hearts! It's pretty hard not to get the level hearts required. | 2011-01-10 23:29:00 Author: Cronos Dage Posts: 396 |
Only problem is the "My Moon" levels were not copied to new ps3. It'll actually be your entire LBP profile that won't transfer - there's a warning to that effect in the PS3 online manual. To transfer it, make a profile backup on the old PS3, copy it to the new PS3, and import the profile. | 2011-01-12 21:06:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |

No. each Hard Drive is formatted to a particular PS3. Putting it in a new one will force the PS3 to format the drive to make it usable. FORMATTING REMOVES ALL DATA PERMANENTLY. | 2011-01-13 00:16:00 Author: Super_Dork_42 Posts: 1874 |
