Turning off friend notifications on PSN?

Archive: 10 posts

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if it possible, and exactly where in the options it is, to stop it coming up with flakmagnet is online, flakmagnet is offline etc. It's annoying enough as it is when people obviously are turning off their PS3 to swap games, but it's really intrusive in fallout, as it keeps pausing the game when it does so!

Cheers,

It's under System settings.

Also, might I remind you that turning off the PS3 to change games is not necessary, as you can instead quit it using the PS button.

Correct, but I'd rather not get a message than have the game freeze every couple of minuites as people keep logging in and out. I'm aware you can just quit games, it doesn't seem like everyone in my friends list is.

Thanks for the help Mark.

I had to do the same thing. Such a huge flaw. I'd be interested to know what exactly causes the controller to stop.2008-11-04 22:36:00
