LittleBigPlanet2 Story Level Footage!

Archive: 14 posts

Here's a collection of story level cutscenes, gameplay and whatnot! Just a note, not all of these are up to date; and the levels are not final. Feel free to post your own links!

Da Vinci's Hideout
Intro (http://kotaku.com/5709285/how-littlebigplanet-2-gets-started) - Now without commentary! Click here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAMmjAYhq20) for Youtube version.
Intro & Rookie Test (http://www.gamespot.com/shows/now-playing/?event=now_playing_littlebigplanet_220101206&tag=topslot;img;1) - This does have the commentary, but it also has more footage. Is it worth it?
Tower Of Whoop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVAVcGDGkcI)
Final Test (http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/12/08/littlebigplanet-2-swing-or-die-gameplay?objectid=19675) - Thanks to daddy_doodle for the level name!

Victoria's Laboratory
The Cakeinator (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4meHEReS0c) - The text was kind of hard to read, I'm relatively sure this is the title, though.

Factory Of A Better Tomorrow
Breaking In (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8vSSzAVrh8) - Thanks to -DR- for the level name!
Pipe Dreams (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6afLBNeEn3Q)
Scare the Sackbots (http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/12/08/littlebigplanet-2-scare-the-sackbots-gameplay?objectid=19675) - Again, not quite sure what this is called.

Avalonia
Surely You Will Fall Prostrate When Confronted With My Magnificence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jN5B2SBbMY)
Shoot Everything (http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/12/08/littlebigplanet-2-shoot-everything-gameplay) - I have no inkling whatsoever on the title here.
Close Shave (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy8fAXDIOX8) - Thanks to moleynator for the footage!
Direct Control (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIgsIxZm0nI) - Still no known level title.

Eve's Asylum
Water Everywhere (http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/12/08/littlebigplanet-2-water-everywhere-gameplay?objectid=19675) - Still no inkling on the title.
Caterpillar Climb (http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/08/18/little-big-planet-2-ps3-gc-2010-gameplay-1?objectid=19675) - Thanks to RJA00000 for confirm and level name!

The Cosmos
Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Negativitron (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=533mBmwSBFo) - I thought the original, Lift Off (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SA85gCPbuJU), was much better, but that's my opinion.

Minigames
Rocket Match (http://www.ign.com/videos/2010/06/16/little-big-planet-2-ps3-e3-2010-rocket-match-off-screen?objectid=19675)
Block Drop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvkZ0gs3lBs&feature=related)

(Thanks for teaching me how to change titles, Silver39!)

Great someone uploaded them all! No need to search around LBPC and youtube for those. Only bad thing is that in the first level those idiots have commentary in the back ruins the feeling. I've seen a better quality from that video elsewhere.2010-12-12 07:39:00

Watched the water one because I wanted to see if they had added DLC into the story levels. They hadn't but I was really impressed by the gameplay going on there.2010-12-12 12:52:00

The one that you called "Cutscene with Clive" Is a Facotry Tutorial called breaking in, you could see it when they paused it at 1:402010-12-12 17:16:00

I believe that "Swing or Die" is called The Final Test.
I figured this out when after they finished Davinci's Tutorial area, they cut out for a moment then it showed a level from the pod, it was called the final test and it had picture that resembled that Frankenstein yo-yo monster that Larry controlled.

There's clearly water at about 5:16 in the First 15 minutes video.

The level that you were not sure if it is in Eve's Asylum is indeed apart of Eve's Asylum, and I believe the name is Caterpillar Climb. 2010-12-13 14:44:00

I can't stop watching the cutscenes, I think I have a cutscene fetish or something.

Anyways, to edit the title go Edit -> Go Advanced and you should be able to edit it from there.

some good info you have there but I can't look. I don't want to spoil the experience. I've seen only one level (lift off) and don't really want to see any other story levels in fears of being able to piece together the story. I' not even letting my little bro play the demo.2010-12-21 05:27:00
