I'm in a bit of a predicament here...

Well, one of my so called "friends" got onto my account and stole the BETA from me! It may be a baseless accusation, but there is much evidence that points to this conclusion.

First off, I will go and say that I do not give away my information and do not participate in Gamesharing. However, my brother sometimes uses my PSN ID, seeing as it is the only PSN enabled account on our system. He may have gameshared using my account, so I'm sure that's where the problem came from. I have gotten him to renounce gamesharing a while ago. Probably 5 months or so.

Anyway, he usually alerts me when password changing, but being my forgetful self, I forgot to change it back. So, my PSN friend "assassin247" (my first PSN friend) Came online and said "HOW YOU GET BETA". I told him that I won the code off of the recent US Playstation Blog code giveaway. He's like "CAN I WIN ONE", and I told him "No. It was around 3 days ago. Oh, and NO gamesharing."

So, a minute later, I'm playing the BETA, when I am logged off. I instantly think, "Oh no! He's trying to get the BETA!"
I'm able to keep him at bay for at least 7 minutes, logging on and off over and over again, while I desprately try to temporarily change my password to lock the thief out. He's gone for a least an hour, so I say, "Whew! He's gone and my password is changed!"

About an hour later, he messages me (after the incident, I removed him from my friends list) asking me to be his friend again. He has the BETA at this point. I tell him, "No! You stole the BETA from me." He's like, "No, I was helping my mom with the groceries. And I found a code after looking through my messages."

As far as I know, He's a thief. Can anyone send me a link or something to report him? Granted, I may get in trouble myself, but It's a risk I'm willing to take. Can anyone give me the right advice?

If he activates the beta on his playstation if it has been stolen from you you will be locked out for 24 hours. If that happens you will know that he has stolen it from you. After that you can report him here. https://secure.eu.playstation.com/psn/support/grief-reporting/2010-12-11 14:54:00

If he gameshared with you, I'm pretty sure he needs to have you on his friends list in order for anything he downloaded off your account to work.

I searched him on lbp.me, so...

http://beta.lbp.me/u/assassin247

Error: 404

Meaning he doesn't exist on LBP.me

I'm pretty sure that you appear on lbp.me as soon as you sign in on LBP2...

So if he has the beta, and got it from you- then he can't play it unless you're on his friends list. Hence why he wants you back on.

Now, that is all conjecture, so may be wrong.

As for something to actually HELP you... my only advice is probably the only real way (besides somehow getting him to admit and deactivate your account), would be to contact Sony Customer Services and see if they can help in any way, whether it be checking to see any other PS3s you're activated on and maybe shutting them off.

So yeah. My research implies he did steal it, unless he's just still downloading :/

Well, I was not locked out, and he tried to play with me on the BETA yesterday, but I rejected his request. So, judging by that, either my info is wrong, or yours is. But that wouldn't explain the trying to get into my account...

I guess I'll send him a message, telling him that I'll forgive him if he can give me proof that he downloaded the BETA in his recent purchases. I will also ask Sony to deactivate any other PS3s my account is on.

NOTE: THE THEFT OCCURED YESTERDAY
