But, when ever I go to redeem it, it throws back an error message: "This code is not valid or has already been used". I have access to beta.lbp.me. I threw my beta code into a quick Google search only to find that many others received the same code, being dubbed a "generic code". I am a Playstation Plus subscriber, I have the 12+3 month plan. What should I do? Seeing this email made me really excited, but seeing the error and the plethora of other users receiving the same code and error is kind of disappointing. Although, LBP.ME is really cool! Thanks! EDIT: At the time of this edit, I just received my new beta code. It worked and I am downloading my client.

Aw man that must be really annoying, I dont know what you could do, maybe reply to the email saying it will not work. But then they mite think your trying to scam yourself a new code for a friend. Well i hope it all works out, Make sure your putting in the code right though. Im not too sure how these codes work(i only have a PSP), i think they mite be the same as the PSP though.

This is crazy -- I've gotten so depressed over not getting into the beta, and then today I get a code in an official sony email, and it turns out to be one that doesn't work I spend way too much time watching youtube videos of the beta Bah... hope they fix it

This has been happening alot as other people have said, beta codes, BB (Bug Blaster) codes, and SPM vouchers. It most likely involves a PSN Store type if thing. Hope you get your code working!

Found a solution over at the Playstation forums. If you view the plain text version of the e-mail (by viewing the source) the correct code should show up there. I did this and am downloading the beta now. Woo-Hoo!!!

You have to set the e-mail to view the main body of the e-mail as plain text and the code should be right there. If you are using g-mail, just click in the right corner of the e-mail to show the original text.

I originally checked my email on my phone and got the code (it worked). But when I checked my email from my laptop the code was different.

I've been trying it, and I do get a different code, but whenever I put it in, it just says "Error Occurred" and what not so I don't know if it really works or not.

I can confirm that viewing the email as plain text works -- a completely different code shows up. THANK YOU SO MUCH WHALEBOY!!! At first I was trying to "view page source", and oddly enough this doesn't seem to work, at least in firefox. But people have gotten this to work in both Gmail and Hotmail so far -- in Gmail you find the option in a drop down menu on the upper right corner of your opened email (the little down arrow -> click on "show original") On hotmail you... "For hotmail users, while looking at all your emails as lists, right click on the email for the beta invite voucher and choose the option to view the message source. " This is according to Doncortez on Neogaf, in the main LBP2 beta thread there. Then, you look for the new Code in the text! Mine was pretty easy to find. People might also want to try viewing the email on their cell phones. Good luck guys and girls!

I got the same code and I am using Outlook 2010. I sent it to my gmail account and viewed it using Google's mail service to no avail. I viewed the email in my ISP's web service to no avail and I sent it to my iPod touch to no avail. I get the same generic code. Oh well, I may just wait till they send out new ones.

Unknown Thief, when you open it in gmail, while viewing the email click on the button with the little down arrow on it in the top right, right next to the reply button. Then, from the menu that appears, click on "show original." Your browser will open the email as a text file, and you will find a different code within. Or just wait it out Alex

I must be doing it all wrong. I forwared the message from Outlook to Gmail and did the show original thing and I got the same generic code. I sent it to my Blackberry and got the same generic code.

And as if by magic, your code* appears! (*That time I meant your actual code, not the words your code, but your beta code, lol. The first time I meant the words though)

I think the reason my "actual code" isn't there is because I use Outlook 2010 and Nod 32. Nod 32 appends some text and the end of every message and as a result, I may have lost the code. I'll just have to wait until Sony sends out new ones. I got some kind of Uncharted voucher today and that code worked just fine.
