>ER's "Found random art" thread

Heeya everybody! i thought i could create this thread where i'll collect all of my random doodles for you to stare at!
it's kinda like the "found art" Mm has or the "daily doodles!" mnniska posted some days ago at LBL, i'll update this OP full with wonderful doodles, sketches and artwork!
(and so far no real life sketches xP)

i am now "hiring" characters to my COMIC, simple as if you're intrested you can leave your name and a picture of your favorite sack costume. Then when i get around adding new characters to the COMIC i can take a quick look at the list of all characters you've donated. the idea of this comic is to get as many from this forum to make a appearance. if you want to you can include the characters' behavior, backstory (not too long!) or any other super mega awesome secrets. if not i'll figure something out myself. :]

BEEFCAKE!

first things first, ANYone here i've accepted a request from and then totally forgot about you? if then im sorry, please refresh my memory!

ANYWHOO, i'll be taking 2 requests at the time just to get a small start, depending on how big the requests are i might get a third or fourth spot open anyway.
you can request about anything, your sackperson in a awesome pose or a NinjaPie eating the sky. as long as it isn't too big or too many small stuff.. like a army of ponies. all will be colored. i would be happy if you could give me some details on your request, don't just throw in a picture.
EDIT: since animations are so hard to create without a proper animation program they might be in gray or completely colorless. also the animations must be a simple thing, do not reaquest me to animate a entire story or something more than maybe.. 3-5 seconds.. unless it's the same picture during the half animation. BUT also please do not request me to draw something that stands still and only a part of it moves around, since i have to re draw the images it would look like the object is shaking even though it's just standing there, a ball that flyes over the screen in much more easier.

thank you, it's very funny to draw all this nonsense, with a story that tells a story that makes no sense everything can happen, in about every frame there's something to laugh at.

pixel art is awesome, and im starting to wonder about a pixel LBP the game, im not so good at programing though. as for there showing up FF stuff everywhere is because i can't get it out of my head >.<

Found Tutorial: How I Draw The Black n' White!

yes some people wondered how i made these rusty robotic stuffs, here's a somewhat resonable tutorial...
thing is, it's pretty hard without the windows 7's (or vista's?) paint program, you see, it's the sucky and pixel like **** lines on windows paint that makes the whole epic-ness by itself, see the Ehum... "turorial" here (http://i1030.photobucket.com/albums/y363/az_za-/Inmakingof.png) to understand a little more,

so what you gotta do is:
1. use the brush, and the brush only, remember it's that windows 7/vista(?) paint-program we're talking about.
2. make sure you're using the smallest size possible,
3. draw the simple shape of your robot/cat/human/tree/thing and start the shading.
4. shading- draw millions of lines however you like AS LONG AS you don't draw only vertical or only horisontal, always draw askew lines, down left to top right for example.
5. ERASE! yes, part of the shading is to erase the shadow to make it more.... fading-like, again- ONLY askew lines, TIP: if you draw from down left to top right- you can try erase from top right to down left to make the shadow longer and more wood-like, while erasing from top left to down right instead makes the shadow shorter. but i do prefer to use Both. yeeeah, you should use both...
6. for gods sake... Zoom in! you can barely see anything if you have it all zoomed out, make those pixles visible!

Apparently I got distracted. I should totally carry a flag around a spear with a flag on it all the time though, if only such a costume piece existed... Ooookay... so! im gonna go ahead and open 2 more request slots now, i haven't heard anything from supah-dorkie about his request for a while, but i think he likes it.? *Cough*whereAREyou??*cough*

ANYWAY some updates about requests in the catagory Animations: it's SO MUCH more easier if you request something that moves during the whole animation, if for example the objects are standing still and just their arm are wawing or something it means i gotta re colour and re shade at the parts wich are not moving, this results in crappy shadows that move around incredibly fast and lineart that seem to have parkinson's disease or something, but if it's a ball that jumps around all the time i can shade it however i want and the shadows do not seem to mess around. also no longer a entire 20 seconds of animation but rather 3 or 5 seconds.. >,>
keep in mind that im still "hiring" you awesome fellas out there for the COMIC. right now i could use a gang of evil-like duders, or moar girls. seriously the comic got no girls what so ever

Anywaysss there's one important note to be noted here: Once you've lost your memory by hitting your head it is NOT. i repeat NOT possible to get back it by hitting your head a second time. Remember this is a comic, but you knew that already didn't you? good, so don't walk around and smash your head on stuff, you'll most likely loose your memory again. Or get a serious brain damage

Not as much laughs as your preivous 2 comics imo, but still a fun treat, plus the drawings are much clearer here, they see to get better and better with each episode. I like the assortment traps you played with too, like that giant hammer, and >er's head falling off from the spider reminded me of those sackboy death drawings and animations shown by one of the MM People that were thought up but canned before LBP1 was released. No problem, and sorry, didn't know he had posted before you changed it x], some confusion with the vms and all.

I think the things that truely brough it to life was all the little tidbits weaved in. Reading them a scond time, I found things I hadn't before that really amused me aswell, some of my favorite bits in this comic being the H4H blackmail, Fire Power joke, Free Coke and of course, when Mnniska jumped in the air and it said "Omg Pants!", pointing to them. Oh, and of course, all the faces were nothing short of brilliant. The action sequences seem top notch, and the hamemr scene is good, fine as it is imo but I think the falling scene dragged out a bit, no offence. If you start from the panel when the floor opens up as a pit to the one before the panel where Ze Chicken Man says "off!", including the parts with >er running around franticly only to fall himself, that's a total of 35 panels you got there.		2011-09-28 23:50:00

Sorry, meant to post later, but here's that suggestion of mine.

It's this guy who actually lives in this temple, he knows how to get out of there, but he likes tinkering with things there, not to say he's some evil inventor, he didn't make this temple, but he might have some information about the flaming emus. It could possibly be some character who pops up and down in an out as he knows his way all across. Sorry if I got you confused when we were both on for what he would look like, and I know you took a picture but just incase, here are two. When I showed monkey dude with spiffy torso, leg hand peices, I realized that was much more complicated, so it would be much better just going with one with Ringmaster's Jacket and black, shiny pants, original one in pictures below.

Sadly, this one doesn't deliver any cheese at all.

Oh yeah about that, a little heads up; The following comic wont be as funny as the older ones, it's more like a filler part of the story where there's not much fun going on but story telling and a little randomness. the reason of this is because i want the story to flow better by adding the effects i want. and thus draggin it a bit too much..

BUT ive some BIG TIME plans for when the adventure will get kickin' the old school jokes again, yes that means jokes in almost every frame.
Also my computer died earlier for a few weeks so requests where delayed badly ._.

As for the amazingly akward adventures of >er's story. It's on it's way, i mean it's christmas and all friends are dragging me around down town. Im also kinda stuck with the story, im starting to think too much blargh.
I got this idea of starting a group for this comic and let eveyone help decide what should happen next, since you're all in it and it makes the comic flow without me messing around with the story details too much, and see my work-in-progress. But meh groups arn't active enough etc etc, and neither am i.

If I were to give any feedback, that would be to make proper panels and structure the bubbles a bit. There was one bit in the new comic where I said "Do you have any idea of where he is right now?", however that first bubble is at the bottom, making me read the other two first and getting all confused.

Aside from that, epic stuff!

Yeah, definitely something to keep in mind. Although, when Drago answered "The one running around like imbusul?", that wasn't meant to be after Mnniska saying "Do you have any idea where he might be now?", it was actually an answer to Mnniska asking "Have you seen any other sack roaming around with a white cap?". Or at least, that's what it looks like to me.

Sidenote: Smart for Mnniska to say "any other sack roaming around with a white cap", otherwise, judging Drago's personality, he'd probably be caught in an endless loop of looking around, pointing to Spazz, and feeling like he's done a good day's work xD		2012-02-05 02:53:00

Argh proper panels are so hard, makes the comic take longer time to finish, but i guess i can atleast try make things more clear. I mean, i go by the rules; top left panels to bottom right, as for bubbles; the top ones first and the bottom ones after. Thanks for the feedback

Yeah, there's a black panel line-thingy missing in some pages, mainly since i never see the pages together as i edit them one at a time, and thus i forget to add the bottom lines xD

I can explain. The way >er's story works isn't exactly having people guest star in order from who submitted first, it's about making it fit with the story. What he said. I wanted to do all characters in order but it's like really impossible .__. Don't worry though, again we do have planned you in the story quite well (imo)

About that, the story is planned far faaar far ahead of what it really is right now. (Just wait for a few chapter and i will have the greatest example on this in LBP history) So really, if one wants to join the comic now we either push them into the story akwardly or it will take forever before they actually make any appearence. This only apply for some.. Saddly, there's not much to do for those sorry

BACKSTORY:
Detective investigating the string of murders that are around Cinfred (see below). Makes a small living with what he does, he also always looks intrigued/angry most of the time. In his spare time he's an inventor building spectacular gadgetry that he never seems to truly complete. Yet it all functions as expected. :tophat:

BACKSTORY:
Wealthy, powerful, and full of British/Victorian Era humor and remarks. Believes that all others are below him and treats the poor as if they don't exist, yet simply acknowledges them occasionally calling them with such remarks like "the desolates". He also kills people if they get in the way or if he's bored, mind that his methods of murder are very cinister.

He also has this...thing as a pet (his name is Foulbert):

Comics are so much easier to work with in a grey-scale and I've been doing a lot of those lately as you know
