"Dodgy Platforms" (LBPC Roast) **Competition Winner!**LFiers
Hi there my fellow LBP people's! I'm proud to present you with my new level... only this time , it is a competition level where the rules are to respectfully 'roast' another LBPC member of your choice... I wasn't going to join the comp at first due to time constraints but quickly reconsidered when I realised how awesome an opportunity it was. So my choice for roasting was a "little" creator that goes by the name of 'JakePutz". The reason I chose him is self explanatory if you've played his levels... He is an awesome creator with alot of talent! One of my personal fav's so it was natural for me to choose to roast him. Anyway, please check out my competition parody level and I hope you have fun! I hope you enjoy what I have created and understand what it is. I created it all from from scratch. I will do F4F to everyone who plays it. Please leave a comment here or in game. (in game preferred but either way is fine. Both is even better.) Thank you.

Notes: Special thanks to the awesome "Lockstitch" for coming up with this crazy idea and implementing it official via LBPC threads. Special thanks also goes out to the fantastic "JakePutz" for allowing me to roast him and for making amazing levels. He hasn't even seen or played it as I write this so if your reading this Jake... I really hope you enjoy what I have created! And to all who want more details of the rules to know exactly what the competition is about, just search either "LBPC Roast" by Lockstitch to find the official competition thread for in depth details and lastly, if you haven't already be sure to check out my level "Resident Raytech" by searching "LFiers" in the game if you get the chance. That would be great. I really hope you enjoy that and leave comments if you liked it. I also have a thread on it and do F4F to all.

This level is awesome! It is really well made. It is varied, with good obstacles and very fun. I like all the things breaking down, and it works well, no glitches occur when something gets broken. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Now please check my level:

Awesome job on this level, great work. Blowing up everything was an awesome idea. I had one problem with it though, when i tried to get a high score i found out that you had to wait for things to blow up in some sections. Anyway good job, i have played all of jackputs' levels and you did and awesome copy, exept everything in time exploded.

Good Work,:star::star::star::star::star: and a <3

Could you check out my level A Broken Paradise

Thanks heaps for the awesome feedback so far people! @Sabre: I like how you noticed & commented on the music changes I put alot of work into deciding what to use and when and where to change it up. @ Metalhead_as: I like how you said I 'did' an awesome copy as opposed to assuming like some people that I 'copied & pasted' it which I didn't. I made it all from scracth and if you look close enough I deliberately made it look like Jake's worlds but at the same time you can tell everything is slightly different sized and shaped in order to make if feel similar yet fresh at the same time. I'm really glad Jake loved it too! He had no idea what I was going to do. 2010-12-14 07:00:00

The level looked really good but it had a few problems.. Everthing kept breaking and falling apart. Lol, Just kidding, It all looked and played perfect or rather it kept falling apart perfect. It kept me wanting to see what was going happen next. It is definitly a must play. The only problem that i saw was that it lost it's 5 star rating. Good luck with the contest. 5 star from me2010-12-14 07:08:00

Usually when people say LOL, they aren't really doing it "outloud", but when I played this I was LOLing for real! I knew I was getting roasted but had no idea what to expect- and when the name (spoiler alert) JakeClutz popped up I knew I was in for a funny treat! It's quite surreal to see a perfect duplicate of your own level reworked like this, and of course I was very flattered by the effort LFiers put into this. My only issue with the level is that if are going to roast someone, it's not nice to make the level so much better than the original, that's just rude. I had to laugh when I saw a comment that said they didn't like your choice of material, like you had a choice! Originally I made Poinless Platforms with only the basic materials and no stickers or decorations, but at the last minute I had to change it- I didn't have the nerve to publish it like that.
Thanks for making this level, LFiers, eventhough it's a roast I take it as a big complement (I guess that's the point). I hope you win and I can't wait to see what you buy me with your PSN gift card that you surely deserve!

Your roasted level of JakePutz was phenomenal. I was very impressed on how accurate your level came close to Jake's considering it all came from scratch. That to me shows how detailed of a creator you are. Very hard to pull off. The level was not only fun and unpredictable, but vividly impressive visually.:star::star::star::star::star:and<3ed. Great job and I hope you win2010-12-19 16:01:00

Thanks Triple_sss. I really wanted to doit all from scratch and surprise Jake too. Jakes reaction alone was worth the time and effort I put into it. Haha. After I released it Jake finally played it he pretty much said "Dude, I would've have just given you a copy of my level for you mess with, that would have saved you heaps time!". Well it would have, but I wouldn't have felt the same about it thats why I really wanted to doit all from scratch. My aim was to get close to Jakes but at the same time blend it with my owns styles and humour to roast the roastee through the eyes of another version of himself (lolwut!?) and near the end... Well I won't say it because I don't want to spoil it for others who haven't played it. Anyway thanks Triple and to all who enjoyed it so far and gave me kind words on it. L.

Now, I waited till after my contest was over to comment on this...

But I must say...when I had the competition idea forming in my head... this is the kind of level that I imagined. LFiers perfectly recreates the levels of JakePutz and then roasts him by making the whole thing fall apart. I seriously haven't laughed harder when playing any other LBP level. There is one point where one of the level's parts doesn't stop, and instead goes crashing through to another part...destroying so much in its path... thats where I laughed the hardest.

If you haven't played this yet and you are a fan of Jakeputz's levels, then you are truely missing out.

Great work LFiers and congrats on that #1 spot!

Wow this level was awesome! I'd already played both of JakePutz's levels that this was based on, which made it all the more entertaining! I really liked how you made all the stuff fall apart, and how you made the gameplay seem like it was going to work like it should then just fall apart and open a different path. I also liked how you made sure that the exploding/braking things wouldn't automatically kill you. Oh and the part where you slipped in a bit of the sequel was awesome!

Epic level! 5 stars and a heart!

For QPQ could you play my level Fight for Justice... https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=42359-Fight-for-Justice

Haha thanks. Great observation. This was a bit of a challenge and an intentional design choice. I wanted people to really enjoy the damage and fun that occurs as opposed to getting killed everything single time something fall apart or explodes.
