Don't know if this has been covered, but are you able to use all the materials and stickers from LBP in LBP2? Or do we get a hole new set and it's just the costumes that carry over?

yea even sounds, music, costumes, even DLC stuff and you can play DLC levels in LBP2 too, LBP1 DLC is also LBP2 DLC. Ofcorse to unlock all the stuff from LBP1 story you need to have LBP1 and get items from it those you got already will be imported thru profile import

Sweet, I only ask cos I got RLOD about a month ago and lost pretty much everything on my PS3 and was wondering whether it was worth collecting everything again what with the new game coming soon, Guess that's pretty much answered that question! Lol

Kind of related, but to anyone in the lbp2 beta is there an option to hide the lbp 1 stuff without having to categorizse all the new stuff? Or are they all mashed together completely with no way but to spend lots of time organizing to seperate them.

I have found that in the beta the original LBP1 music tracks dont work when you place them. I dont know the cause of this problem but it is quite worrying Hope Mm sort this out because there were some awesome tracks on LBP1

It's because all music tracks would take more gigs of size and beta download would be huge this is why they remove them from the beta
