I have a couple of questions. 1. My "Import Items Collected in LittleBigPlanet" button says that there was no LBP1 Profile detected. Is that bad? 2. Not everything transfered over. Is that normal? 3. I cant find the Grabinators in Create Mode. Help? :SH:

1. Just pull a new backup from LBP1 and then go in the Beta and then choose replace your current one and select your LBP1 profile. You will lose any prizes you gained already from playing the story levels, but you will get your LBP1 moon and all the other stuff. 2. Yeah.. it found an old profile from before they moved it all to the save data. Happened to everyone. 3. Yup.. normal. There are a few levels that have that as prizes. Perhaps someone will point out a few for you.

The Grabbinators arent supposed to be in the game, they were stolen from pipe dreams by someone with the god glitch so dont worry about that, you can get them from any good god glitch level About your stuff not being trnsferred i dont know what would cause that, i would try going into lbp1 and doing something to change your profile - like get some community objects, then go back to the beta and it should ask you to import again, but i dont know whether this would work cos im not sure what your problem really is

Now that you mention it, I think you can add the capture tool to your favorites and go into the tutorial and capture that.

Wait, so how do I get back all my LBP1 Stuff? And will I lose my Stickers from LBP2? Or will they just be together in my popit? And I need DISCRETE INSTRUCTIONS on how to do it. P.S. I dont have LBP1, it broke'd in May. :SH:

Wow.. you do have an issue. When you say LBP1 is broken... how so? If you still have some profile backups on a USB, you should be able to get one back to a current position. You might still find one via the Beta, but if I recall it likes to point to an older one until you take a new backup. Sorry.. been awhile since I messed with it all. Hopefully someone with better and fresh knowledge can help you out.

Cuz ive found another LittleBigPlanet labeled file without a Sackboy picture. :SH: EDIT: Noticed that Profile backup was from last December... ooh. Gonna rent the game and back-up the current profile. Will it import to LBP2 THEN?

If the theory that the pre-Leerdammer profile is causing the problems (not sure, cos I deleted that ages ago), then you need only delete that one file from Save Data, and it should pick up your latest LBP1 profile from Game Data. Have a quick look through your Save Data area, and there should only be a single file called "LittleBigPlanet Profile", which you need to delete. The rest should be labelled "LittleBigPlanet Profile Backup", which ought not to interfere with LBP2. You can also opt to import an LBP1 profile backup if you prefer. As for whether you'll lose all the stuff you've made in LBP2, I'm not sure. Certainly importing a complete profile will do that, but as for the "Import Objects Collected in LittleBigPlanet" options, I've never tried it.

if your worred about saving your stickers/costumes on beta save your costumes on Sackbots and your stickers in bubbles... and put all that in to a locked level online, and come back for it later after new profile :3 *mew

I had the same problem, play a god glitch level to receive it

Im seeing 2 LittleBigPlanet labeled files in my Game Data (one earlier than the other), and one Profile Backup from December 2009. Only a LBP1 Level Backup in my Saved Data. Strange. Do both the profiles in Game Data have the same username? You normally only get that if you attempted to transfer data between 2 PS3s or restore from a backup. Anyways, in theory you can delete the older of the two profiles, but there's no way to undo that, so it might be safer to get LBP1 and do it that way. You sure the profile backup you mentioned is in Game Data, cos that doesn't make much sense?

If you are just importing LBP Collected Objects, it won't interfere with anything you've made/received in your time spent collecting or creating in the beta. I know it's scary... but, take that leap of faith and do it.

Update: Deleted my recent LittleBigPlanet save, BECAUSE It was the Family Video one where I couldnt use my GoTY DLC. Hopefully I made the right choice! :SH:

Yes, importing objects brings over your costumes too. (At least, mine did.) Hmm.... I was sure saved costumes are part of the profile and not collected objects. Good to know.

Open popit. Click down one to Tools Bag. Click all the way left. Choose Horrible Gas Tool (little puffy cloud emblem). Click tool on any material you created. Voil?!
