"The Domain" with pics

I was unable to produce any quality video from my level. I play on a SD tv with digital inputs and it all looks pretty good until I try to film it. So I took a few pics [still not that great] to give you guys an idea of what the level looks like.

Level Name: The Domain
Location: Off the coast of California

Level Description: Make it through the domain or perish in it's depths.

Overview: The level starts out with some fairly simple obstacles but the difficulty progresses right up the the big finish. I've attempted to incorporate every trick I've learned from the story mode plus a few tricks of my own. The final room uses over 15 switches, 4, motors, a few pistons, and a gaggle of geese. I built the level in sections so most of the cool stuff you'll see will be available as prizes. There are a total of 21 prizes.

Pay attention to what the floating gold "mask" tells you. It may be your only hope!

I wouldn't suggest trying to beat this level if you're new to the game.. Timing is key for some obstacles. I made sure to have plenty of checkpoints and any movable objects necessary to completing the level are completely respawnable.

Ok, have no idea why this level hasn't been in the w/e they just made were it goes on the front page. Played the level, almost three times now, this level is complete amazement, ok I'm exaggerating a bit... But seriously, everyone needs to play this level, from the moment you start till the big finale ( and by big I mean HUGE, the ending was awesome doc good job ) this level was awesome, well polished, everything works perfectly ( I never got stuck ) Seriously, everyone give docpac some love and play his level, you wont regret it 2008-11-05 02:22:00

OK everyone, here is the deal: this is one of the top 10 user-made levels out there just as good in it's own way as Azure Palace, World of Color or any of the other top rated levels out there. Now I have played a ton of user-made stuff and I am quite frankly astounded at how much mediocre creations are published. Especially when for some reason these levels are being hearted and put on the front page of cool levels (Skate, 4x trophies in 30 seconds etc.)

There are certain levels where you know within the first 30 seconds that you are in for something special and this is one of those levels. It is the kind of level where you sense that the creator really cared about what they were making and put a lot of effort into it. This level has character. If your like me you will laugh the first time you see the enemies, they are absurdly cool. You will admire the lighting used in the level and the unique color filter whcih I have not seen used before. You will enjoy the quick pace and story that drives everything forward. And when you get to the end and see the massive, inspiring contraption that docpac created for our pleasure, then you should sit back and say "wow. This is why I bought LBP, in the hope that everyday people from all over the world will create things like this for me to play". If you aren't thinking that by the end of the level then you should probably go sell your copy of LBP

I have made it a point to play all levels made by users on this forum and it is a breath of fresh air to play something so well done. So if you have not tried the level yet then why are you still reading this, get going! You will not be disappointed . Great work docpac, I look forward to the next one.		2008-11-07 07:54:00

The early parts of the map have wide open spaces with little or no detail included, and as such I didn't have a great impression early on. I played the rest of it though, and I'm glad I did. This level really picks up later on. There are some excellent sections in this map that really work well, and the gameplay overall is very well done.

I just played the domain for the first time. Awesome level - 5 stars and hearted. I'm looking forward to more from you - cheers!

BTW please have a go on my level - called "Monkey in the Jungle (finished)" can be found just north of Japan. It's not as good as the domain, but it's still pretty awesome (in my humble opinion).

Hey, I played through your level about a hour ago. It's absolutely amazing, I loved the attention you gave to the lighting of the level, which played a big part in maintaining a certain atmosphere throughout. The end puzzle was excelent too. Well done, gave it 5 stars/hearted it/hearted you as a author
