Pins Idea

I was thinking... wouldn't it be really neat if creators could make pins for their own levels? (or set of levels) this would let creators make their own trophies for achievements in their levels pretty much~2010-12-08 12:33:00

Yeah that would be cool, but it should just be pins ant not trophys because we can't make trophies, only the SCEA can I think. It would work like the community objects collection, when you have too much you have to delete some.2010-12-08 16:04:00

Trophies can be only created by game developer and they got strict policies and rules made by Sony, so players can't make them

I think the OP was just comparing these pins to trophies, not saying we should actually be able to create trophies. I do like the idea anyway 2010-12-08 21:02:00

exactly. I was pretty much saying we can use pins to have trophies for our levels (not real trophies)

Yeah what bernkastel means is like the achievement system in swinging sillohuete by anposteller. In that he had set logic that allowed the player to get stuff for doing specific stuff. It would be cool if you could make like a pin that was unlocked when you completed a series of levels or played them all. It would help the community out.2010-12-10 02:06:00

yeah, it could be used as a way to track progress in a game.
if player has pin "level 1 complete" then unlock level 2 (from a world map kind of thing)
