I heard from friends who have the beta and check the beta forums, that the beta phase started today and emails were sent. I have not seen any threads here on lbpcentral, so i thought i'd make one to ask if its true. Have emails already been sent. If so, this sucks because that means i didnt get it. (Even after going through 2 weeks of hard work recieving all the trophies and spending my last bit of cash on ps+ account)

The Beta phase started a long while ago, but this (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=39975-Sackboy?s-Prehistoric-Moves-LittleBigPlanet-2-Demo-Beta-Expansion-All-Coming-in-Dec) thread confirms more codes being sent out in December, so that's probably what your friend is talking about. You do get to look forward to the LBP2 open demo though, which is available Dec. 21!

I'm a PS+ member and got my Beta code at around 6PM on monday (UK time) So they're definitely being sent out.

As far as I can tell from the beta forums some European PS+ subscribers have been invited. It is not known whether it is the full amount and I don't know if any north Americans or whatever have been invited yet.

Yeah I've got my invite (Australia PS+). I just cant get into either of the sites so I'm emailing them about that. Still dancing around like N64 kid.

And i'm not too excited about the demo, because from what I've heard... It's only story mode. And i've seen way to many videos too find any interest in playing those. It's unfotunate that you (among others) have bought into the PS+ sham in hopes that it might secure you a spot in the beta. I know many people (not saying you specifically) were under the impression that "all" PS+ members would get in due to a poorly worded press release. I sincerely hope you get an invite... but don't get your hopes up too high at this point. I also sincerely hope your PS+ membership gives you enough content to have made it worth spending the money on it.

But i was hoping that maybe that and the fact that i spent 2 weeks straight playing lbp and earning trophies and making levels, i thought i might have had a super high chance. But i guess im just always unlucky. And i didnt get my moneys' worth. I actually didnt buy any of the PS+ stuff because they look very cheap. And this PS+ stuff looks very bad, and a waste of peoples money.. I dont see why people would normally buy it IMO. But yeah, maybe the Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves might make me feel a bit better. I doubt it though.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Beta Trial Over the past few weeks, it’s truly been astonishing to see the creations that have come out of the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta trial. In fact, we’ve been so impressed, we’re going to expand the beta trial a bit further, so in early December, a new batch of invitations will go out, including PlayStation Plus subscribers, more community contributors, and even some giveaways. Is your PSN age above 18? That might be a problem if it's not. I was able to get my codes just fine.
