LittleBigAmazing Race - Help and Staff required!

Are you ready for it? The epic reality adventure making it's LBP debut? You better be ready for it, because the LittleBigAmazing Race is coming soon!

Like the regular Amazing Race there is to be 10 teams competing for the ultimate prize of $1,000,000..... no wait... okay, maybe only $20 on PSN... but still! it is to be an epic competiton and I'm still looking for volunteers to help me host, and people to find levels, and make levels for which Detours, Roadblocks, Fastforwards, all that good stuff can be performed, and clues can be hidden, i'm also still looking for player too, but there are some rules that must be followed if you are to join:


Must be getting LBP2, as this contest is based in LBP2
Must have the ability to be on PSN at least once a week
Must pick a partner to compete with you through the whole race
Must have time when on PSN as legs can take a short, or long length of time
Owning a chatpad or keyboard for PSN would be benificial
Must be able to have fun!


The rules for Staff members are pretty much the same, so if you would like to help out, or play, send me a message, or just post on this thread, I'm hoping to get the contest started soon, and your help is the only thing thing that can get this train wreck a rolling!

Estimated start date: Maybe late April, Early May, not making any promises.

P.S. More info will be posted in later stages of production.

Between this, sibtiger's Big Brother, and the upcoming LBP dating show "I Love RockSauron", it looks like I've inspired a wave of "reality" inspired competitions on LBP.

RADICAL stuff...

I wouldn't mind actually being a participant in something for a change. A few questions though... How long are you planning on having the competition last? Second, any idea on the exact format...? As in, can you give me an example of what a leg of the race would entail?

I understand there is some confusion, so I will outline how a leg will work.

1: Start off by the team coming to my pod
2: when they want to start, I will reveal the first clue, they discuss, and tell me what to search
3: Whether it is a Roadblock, Detour, or just plain level, they will do the challenge.
*Roadblocks are challenges for 1 person, Detours are challenges where you pick between 2 challenges, and plain levels are... plain levels.*
4: I will time them, and bring times from challenge to challenge.
5: The team with the fastest time will win the leg's prize, (Thinking XP prize packs) and the loser may, or may not be eliminated, whether it is an Elimination leg, or non elim.

So yeah, that's the basic format, may make some tweaks though, so that isnt final.		2010-12-07 04:06:00

No official starting date yet, I am thinking about 2 weeks after LBP2 is out, give people some time to settle in, because If I get things together for the LBP1 side, there will likely only be one leg, so I'm going to hold off, just to make sure everyone has LBP22010-12-15 21:33:00

This is basically just a race, that we do with a friend while you time us? There's no creating involved at all?

Triple post! new record!
and just to be clear, I am changing a few things, the start date is now (unoffical) Feb 10. and I think i'll reduce the prize to $20, and some XP, 40 is quite the handful I have just realized, and I need to get some DLC for myself, I only have like 4 packs, gotta look good for LBP2!

and also, no creating involved, but there is some problem solving and puzzles.

Hey, i won't be able to play lbp once a week, but i still wanna play. so, do you think there is anything i can do? since i won't be able to play lbp as often as i need to. I am sure there is something i can do. Make levels,... i dont know... but i want to do something. The last three contests i joined never announced a winner, and never passed out prizes. So, yeah. Alright, well I think it's about time I addressed what's going on here, it Hasn't started yet, and won't be starting for a while, I've been busy, haven't had much time to go on LBP, I also haven't had many people volunteer to help me either, so any help would be appreciated, all new contestants have been added to the list, i'll keep you guys updated if I make any more progress.2011-02-25 15:34:00
