Scoring after a projectile hits

i been trying to figure this out, how do i make it so after ive emiited a projectile out of my object when the projectile hits it target to give a score so, lets say i shoot a projectile at a random piece of cardboard and the carboards our target how do i get it to give a score once it hits the carboard any help appreciated2010-12-06 19:00:00

Magnetic key on the projectile, magnetic key switch on the target. Then have each magnetic key switch go to an OR switch. This OR switch will emit a creature brain that is set to destroy instantly (can be done with an inverted one shot grab switch). That will give 50 points
If you don't understand that I could show you, I'm not great at explaining things.

Radishlord gave a good example but here is another:

If you want to use the Metal gear solid paintinator projectiles;
-capture a paint bubble in pause mode
-emit it out of your chosen object
-place a MGS paint counter on the object
-rig it to a creature brain
Or
-rig it to an emitter and set the output to points
