Running

I personally love to run, does anyone else run for leisure or sport. I love the feeling of running and how it manages to clear my head of all the daily stresses, i feel best after a good workout and run? How far do you run what time, whats your preferred terrain?2010-12-04 18:47:00

I do, but the last month i haven't once, because my knee has gone again, and i can barely walk a long distance at the moment, let alone run it.

Running is fun though.

In 2 weeks i'll be able to start running on a daily basis.
I can't run now because... i'd break a leg trying to run in the tall grass/mud of this swamp
I'll be running on a treadmeal, that's the best i can do. :/
(Yea i know they suck compared to running on real ground but I live in a swamp, we don't have ground!)

But you can find Pokemon in tall grass D:

I'm the worst runner in history. I can't even run for a quarter of a mile without running out of breath.
See what I did there?

I use to run, but only on elliptical machines. They have very low impact and allow you to exercise longer. I'm 6'0 225Lbs. and not really built to run, just lift.2010-12-05 01:46:00

I like sprinting short distances, but I hate doing long runs. At our school every Friday is Fitness Friday, so in PE we have to do a run. We did one yesterday and it was freezing outside. It sucked.

One of my favorite things is to walk though. Pop in my ear buds and listen to music, and walk. Good times. I'd probably walk even more if there was somewhere interesting to walk to here. It's all houses and roads

I like both running and have walks.
I like to do it at night, just after dinner, but I'm often too tired to do it.
And I love to do it in the City, when all is silent and relaxing.
And it's better if it's cold, since the fresh clean air in your lungs makes you feel ALIVE!
Cool stuff.

hahaha i run and lift i used to be 170 lbs with 23% body fat, then i cut all fats, fast food and most sweets and now i'm 160 lbs 8% body fat, i feel so much better i just yesterday completed an 11 mile run in 79 minutes not bad. If you ever have questions nutrition wise i can help with running lifting technique and runnning, (I help out). Honestly though, lifting and running are quite a lifestyle change but i have never felt better and now i have to do it, i can't not. One word of advice though, start small!2010-12-07 00:02:00

I only run when I have a purpose, like a sport. I ran track a few years ago, but it interferes with my main sport, so I can't anymore. My favorite run is the sprint up to the long jump pit. 2010-12-07 00:49:00
