Game Mania, the largest Gamestore in Flanders, has updated their site with a release date for LBP2 in Europe. Its 21 januari, only three days after the NA release with the price of ?70 for the non-collectors edition. Sadly, no information on the CE.2010-12-04 12:31:00

3 days later than USA, ****. And €70 is a pretty good price, it's usually what a new game costs here in Sweden if not cheaper.

EDIT: Well it is kind of fair that USA get LBP2 earlier than EU, because EU got the LBP2 BETA before USA.

I dont know, games usually cost 60 Max if it doesn't come with any extra stuff.
Lately games have the release price of 45-55 in Ireland.
Black ops was 45-50.

Agreed, until Sony or Mm say otherwise. I'm sticking to 18th Jan.

Game Mania only sets an exact release date when Sony or an other company tells them the release date. So 21 januari will be. The price can be diffrent in other countries tough.2010-12-04 17:17:00

This date is correct, games in america are always released on a Tuesday whereas in the EU the games are usually released the following Friday. This trend isn't new, all of the EA games are released in this structure. It is rare that a game is released worldwide on the same date, only a few big games like Halo & Call of Duty have been released worldwide at the same time. The reason why this happens is usually down to the way the games are shipped to retailers though I don't know the specific's but all games are released like this, not just LBP2. This is just a hunch but another reason why they might be staggering the release dates is so that there is less stress on the LBP2 servers come launch, We all know what happened to the servers when LBP1 came out.2010-12-05 12:45:00

January 18th is the only confirmed date for the release of the game. This has been confirmed for NA, but may just as well be applicable for the EU region. There has been no other official announcement date regarding release in other regions.

However, because retailers have been moving this date around for the past six months since the game was first announced, this is merely speculation. Thus, this thread has been moved to the Speculation and Suggestions forums.

It's fine imo.
But then they should make a level publish lock or something until it is released everywhere.
The levels of the first week will probably be the most hearted levels for years, so it wouldn't be fair if some people get it earlier. :s
