Entrance problems

I don't know if you have the same problem but the entrance won't work when the camera shows the sackbot you are supposed to control instead of the entrance. Sackboy doesn't come out and I don't know what to do. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Is that a glitch or something?2010-12-02 10:05:00

Try making it so that the cutscene camera that follows the sackbot is activated by the ACTIVE output on the controllinator that sackboy falls into. That will allow sackboy to spawn, and by getting into the controllinator, he will activate the cutscene camera, which will then follow your sackbot.2010-12-02 10:13:00

Sackpeople don't come out of the checkpoints unless the checkpoint is on screen - it's always been this way afaik. The reason why you're seeing it intermittently is probably because there is some timing issue between when the player spawns and the camera activates. Holguin's method will fix this. Alternatively have the player follow the sackbot on an invisible piece of hologram with invisible controlinator. I kinda prefer this method as it allows you to use normal gameplay cameras for everything.

What do you mean by "the acitve output"? I can't find any outputs on the controlinator. I used a player sensor instead so it works now but I still want to know what you ment.

I still have to get used to the complex logic of LBP2. I guess it will be easier when it's all in german and when we got all the tutorials.

On the controlinator there is an output that looks like it's coming from the PS button in the center of the controller - this will switch on when there is a player in the controlinator.2010-12-02 13:49:00
