Anybody knows if it is possible to make invisible moving platforms? I have an idea to make a level, but a need a way to make platforms move and be invisible.

Choose material (most work I think), I tend to use dissolve/dark matter/cardboard. Create a visible block. Shrink it down to as small as possible. Turn grid off and rotate it slightly. You should now be able to shrink it down to make it invisible. You can still attach pistons to it. Redo until you have desired length. Or make a really long one then cut the sides off.

The way I make nice sized platform blocks is to make a huge invisible block*, then making a negative of the shape I want it to be with the grid on. Finally I use the copy the negative and use it to cut into the invisible material. *Make a long thin block of whatever material, trim it down so it has a kink in it (this helps with shrinking to invisible) copy the shrunken invisible material and draw a line with it. Notice how it smears now rather than making a straight line. Don't worry if it becomes visible again. Shrink, copy and repeat until you can draw an invisible block of the right size. You can NOT cnr edit so you have to cut with another material.

Unless you end up making the pistons visible, that are connected to the platforms I have noticed that most people just give up & leave when they see something unrational, like 5-10 invisible moving platforms. If your looking for hearts or a lot of levels play which I see the majority of this site going after I would just focus on your level being fun & enjoyable, not hardcore challenging unless that's what your going after.
