YEAH BABY !!!!!!!! Some of you may know that my PS3 went to where PS3's go to in the sky when they die. But I've just got back from my local shopping centre with a brand new PS3 I got it from GAME so as to be all set up and ready for LBP's release on Wednesday 5th I tried blagging it and getting LBP now and asked the man behind the counter if they had LBP and he said yeah we should have as I saw some out the back this morning. I was like OMFG if dude is the man if he sells it to me (he is new there as well and didn't look like he knew what he was doing) I will have his babies (if I could lol) Then this fat bird that works there comes over and says "your not allowed to sell them as it doesn't come out till Wednesday" If only she was on a break and eating a cake or something, then i might of had a chance, if it would have scanned through ok. I tried as hard as I could and told them that everyone has been selling them all day and that the street date had been broken as it was only due to the delay that they weren't out yet anyway. I said my cousin was in tesco's and had already got one earlier but was there again waiting to see if I wanted him to get one for me. I told her I'd rather get it from GAME as i always get my games there and wanted the points on my reward card. But she was having none of it and said she needed a phone call from head office to say they were allowed to sell them. Oh well it worked last time for me to get COD4 when i got the game nearly a week early using the same story lol OH WELL only 28 hours till it's released For the record, I got a 80GB PS3 for ?299.99 with Fallout3 thrown in for free

Nice Dorien!!! for a moment i thought this thread was old because you said " got it from GAME so as to be all set up and ready for LBP's release..." i was like what its been out for like a week now, but then remembered where you lived and was sad for you because you have to wait. That does seem like a good deal too, though not to sure how the pounds and dollars translate...thats like a little under $500 just a blind guess. anyway hope to see online soon

Gonna get the old one fixed at that place you told me about in scotland and give it to my dad I hope this one don't break too. Ah well. You still have all your old games right? Yep still got my old games (not that i've ever played them lol) I've been a XBOX360 nut for the last few years and only got my PS3 at Christmas to play LBP. As my mate was selling it and was a good deal. cool! how long have u been without a ps3? It's not been playing disks since the LBP Beta. Everything else on it works absolutely fine though
