Two switched connected to one piston

I have tried for about an hour to get this to work but I can't figure it out.I have two buttons, which if you jump on -should- activate an emitter that spawn a block of gas where you stand for half a second before disappearing. Obviously just connecting one of the switches to the emitter won't make the other button do anything, so I need help here.

Just so there aren't any misunderstandings; either button should activate the emitter. But both aren't required to do so.

You need an "or" gate, you can get one from the LBPcentral logic pack, or someone who posts below me who is so awesome will describe how to make it.
Basically you just want each button to control a piston with a key on it, and have both of them piston get close to a mag switch when the button is pressed, then you use the Mag switch to activate an emmiter.

I've built the perfect doodad for that, you hook up any number of switches (up to 4) and each input will override the previous one. VM me if you want info.2010-12-01 23:24:00

Oh man, do I feel stupid. It was such an easy problem to solve once my brain started to work. Thanks alot for your help, everyone! My brain woke up when I read robotiod's post and I got it working now as I want it to.
