I have a query about HD capturing software stuff Does an HD PVR or HD Capture Card of some kind still record in HD if you have a rubbish non HD (not even LCD/plasms) telly So if i recorded some *insert_high_quality_media* footage on my rubbish telly which isnt HD would the footage be HD when it was put on the computer?? Otherwise i might not invest in a good bit of kit until i get a better tv

no it dont because you need the HDMI plug in ect... a good SD capture card is a Dazzle DVD 100 i have one its good to start out with i have a HD tv but i cant yet afford the ?200 HD PVR the dazzle is good for youtube to start out on but ive used mine about a year now i need the PVR lol
