This is how the story will start: ?I want to be an explorer!?... That was 20 years ago I had that dream, but my father, he didnt let me. Instead HE was the most famous explorer of his time. I've never spent much time with him. He was always on expeditions. I saw him some days a year. He was my Idol. But he never let me join him.. But then he got ill. A strange disease he brought from an expedition. No doctor had a cure. That was the time I saw him everyday for a whole year. The closer his death came the more mad he became, talking about mermaids, kraken, sunken cities and a malstrom. What happened to him? Soon the day came he was about to die. It's been exactly 1 years since his foot stood on dry land. He knew he was dying that day. In his dying breaths on the death bed he said ?Son, listen.. take... my chain... palm... outside.... find J.V.... you are my... greatest discovery...? His eyes closed and some strange green fog appeared. It got cold. I couldnt see a thing. I heard a woman laughing... Silence.... As the fog disappeared the dead body of my father was gone. I looked at the chain my father gave me. It is a mermaid.. Wait a minute! Her eyes are glowing green. What does that mean??? Chapter 1 will be called "The Curse of the green Mermaid" I hope you got as excited as I am about these levels and I will keep this thread updated. The moment I saw the thread, I kept thinking in my mind," Just keep swimmin, just keep swimmin" from Finding Nemo, but was I wrong. The poster art really does add a feel of suspense and a nice introductory to the level. I can't wait to see the final level!

so will it be all underwater? where there be an underwater world like rapture? will you ever go back to the surface? just so many questions lol

indeed, most of the action will take part underwater. But even underwater there are some caves where there is air to breath. So not only swimming and diving The Nautilus might be the level series "Rapture" But to the question if you will ever get to see the sun again I will leave that unanswered

WOW. Can't wait for it. Looks amazing. You give me so many ideas. hmm... Love the pic, but (MINOR THING) I think the waves ruin it to me. Add some clouds, and a sun, or other islands in the back ground. I know it's just a sketch, but maybe you can turn it into another poster-ish thing. Doesn't need to be a teaser.

Love the pic, but (MINOR THING) I think the waves ruin it to me. Add some clouds, and a sun, or other islands in the back ground. Totally agree with you. A coloured version is now on the front page. Have you ever thought of being a movie script writer? Yes. But I think I'd fail Cant wait for explore this underwater world! And Overwater world and underwater but in cave world and malstrom world and Atlant.... oops xD You can really come up with wonderful ideas. I will reveal more info on the story and gameplay very soon =)

Wow... Thats shockingly deep from someone with usually bright and cheery levels! 0_0 The levels look fantastic, and the story is even better. I will be extremely impressed if you could make this series span as far and long as at least 5 levels. Good luck to you! Cant wait

I assume this is named after captain nemo, not the fish mainly because of the quote. Loved Jules Verne's Novels, perhaps you could incorporate another of his books into another series? Paris in the 20th century would be interesting but more like real life than a sci fi book now...

Well the story is completely made up though there are some references to Jules Vernes as in Locations and happenings. But I want the series to have the LBP charme, that's why I have written an own story. But Steampunk will play a major role in one of the later chapters.

Larate; it is 20,000 leagues under the sea. Does seem like a great level, can not wait till its released. And part of it will take place in Atlanta? Nice city, they have a good aquarium, coca cola factory,...airport.
