Heck, now I'm starting to reconsider even purchasing a PS3; if Sony begins charging individuals to download user created levels, I'm not even going to bother then...

You do realize that's from April 12th...right? Lets see now... April March June July August September October November ^That's how many posts have passed since, so then lets see... Yep, officially way more than half a year ago, when barely anything had been confirmed, and when 99% of "News" about LBP2 were mer speculation. So...yeah, wouldn' really try to spread these news too much, considering they're most likely falese/ extremely outdated. (Ps: Alos, if you pay attention at the beggingin, he says: Hidy Ho Sackfolks! I haven't tried to shake things up with a hot rumor in a while, so I figured that it is time for me to check back with you all Keep in mind that this is a relatively old interview, but the fact that the idea was ever even on the table seems to make the issue worth mentioning. A RUMOR, basically, yer basing yer view on an 8 month old sper outdated rumor... XD) Not to mention is based from an article made in 07.09.2009 *, meaning older than one year...so yeah, I wouldn't even pay attention to that if I were you m8.

I understand; even then, I'm scared that transactions/fees could make their way into the service in such a way as to undermine the user experience/deter budding and potential creators from playing the game...

I think the tried, trusted and rather lucrative business model of DLC-funded development that Sony / MM have been following speaks for itself. The amount of customer dissatisfaction that this would cause would be immense and as the additional revenue (if there was any - remember that angry customers don't come back) would not be worth the bad PR, especially as it's not needed. Now, considering we've not been given any good reason to believe this is true, there is no mention of it anywhere in any official statement, it's a complete paradigm change and it would be a stupid move from a business POV... I'd say the fear, based upon an unsubstantiated internet rumour, is a bit premature. Also, I can't see MM standing for this.... They may not be in control any more, but I'd imagine Alex et al fighting tooth an nail to resist such a change in their baby.

It would be stupid and don't have any logic if they would do it, LBP2 is no different from LBP1 in way that it download LBP1, in fact they using same servers

zeldarocks.... this is the 2nd topic i seen you make about a rumor thats not and we all know NEVER will be true, about something that'll ruin LBP2 sells, to be honest im not even sure you believe them rumors your self, because you keep half reading what people say to you and how them rumors are just that, a rumor, and more then likely never come true, but one way or another remember LBP2 will be a great game, even better then the first,theres nothing to worry about, Buy it, have fun, don't worry about little things that don't matter, don't believe rumors unless MM them selfs say something about whatever, Lets all just have fun oK? :3 *mew
