I'm sure Treyarch are quaking in their boots (VERY sarcastic tone). I mean in terms of my own personal taste in gameplay. I find the current COD indistiguishable from it's previous iterations & I'd much prefer it if all of the annoying tagnuts of COD stick with their bland rehash of last years title; At least Battlefield is trying to do something the other FPS' don't (fully destructable environments).

The mindless noobs and the people who actually still find the CoD gameplay fresh will stay, but the people looking for more tactical games will go back.. Also, the Map Pack 7 is out tomorrow for free, with Harvest Day and oasis remakes (BF1) and a map from the single player. Edit: has infact got 4 maps, Cold war is another new one. I didn't know, they didn't announce that one. The maps are up now, but you have to download a 1.6GB update to use them, which is the Vietnam update.

Just another reason why I prefer BT:BC2 to COD:BO; The VIP map pack system. COD (because it's run by Activision) is all about the cash - when the map pack is released I bet it'll be something rediculous like 3 maps for ?12.99, a rip-off by any standards. But the plebians will still rush to hand over their cash - it's just a Bobby Kotick says "COD players WANT to give us their money" Where-as BF:BC2 gives you the VIP code with a new copy - allowing you to download all the new map packs gratis. - and can also you buy the VIP code if you bought the game 2nd hand - that way DICE still manage to make some money from 2nd hand sales of the game. A much heathier way of releasing map packs I feel. For both the dev and the consumer.

That patch takes an absolute age to download (2 hours in the snow and still 75%) But VIP 7 is class, mainly for the Oasis and Harvest day remakes Also, Just another reason why I prefer BT:BC2 to COD:BO; I believe it's BF*

Havest Day is a map where I can really tank whore it up, I love it. I'd say the same for Heavy Metal if it weren't for the choppers.
