I hate injuries on holidays that don't even relate to the holiday... I was in the ER for 6 hours two years ago getting stitches... Lot's of old guys sprained various body parts during Thanksgiving football.

Sorry to hear about that josh. Sucks being unable to celebrate holidays. Once, I got the flu virus and couldn't celebrate Christmas as we normally do (I had to stay in a room by myself to avoid getting others sick). Worst Christmas EVER.

Oh, well that's horrible, I sure hope you get well soon. Keep your head held high, think positive (even in the worst situations), and just keep on walking. Things may occur for no reason at all, but that's just how life works out sometimes, nothing we can do about it but just wait and see what happens next. Again, I wish you a healthful recovery.

Wow, i didn't think that many of you really cared, i'm doing fine for now, i took 3 hydrocodone and drank a milkshake, so the pain will be gone for a good 14 hours. So i might as well fill you all in on exactly what happened. We were heading into the city next to ours, Kennewick. Me and my mom were going to go to my grandmas for thanksgiving dinner with the family. Not many people were on the roads so there wasn't much danger. We hit some black ice as we were going down the freeway exit, and spun right into the wall! We were apparently unconscious for an hour before someone called 911... Our car was totaled, my neck was messed up so much, they said i was "Lucky that it wasn't broken" So we missed dinner, spent most of the night and the morning in the ER. And here i am!

Wow dude, Im so sorry to hear about that! I wish you and your family a speedy recovery! Thank god you guys are all OK though. As much as I love cars and driving, they are very very dangerous. Especially at this time of year. It sounds like you guys had no control of the situation, I bet that was scary. Now, I don't wish to come across as 'Captain Sensible' here, but please people, drive carefully. Life is precious, so don't waste it. I had to learn that lesson the hard way.
