I just did something with a friend and now we have those and now there all over the beta! Everyone who has the beta, and has done this... tehre are rumors going around that if you have a crown or any dlc and didnt earn it youll geet banned form the beta v_v im not sure if this is true but still just to be safe make a back up and delete those items.

You won't get banned because of an unfortunate glitch. And don't worry. Nothing in the beta will be transferrable to the full game, so make the most of your shiny hats while you can!

Note: I didnt create this level but it causing major problem Im just letting people know. Also I dont know if this thread belongs here but if it doesn't then move it ok. Ok everyone the title says it all, The rare Crown and DLC Costume are shareable! this guy name ant_dos222 (http://beta.lbp.me/u/ant_dog222) created this level called Free LBP CROWN ! **WORKING** ("http://beta.lbp.me/v/bbg9) and this level is causing problem not only to the community but to Mm. I played this level and it works, they give you a sackbot with a crown and then you go to create, put the sackbot, change the costume and it the top press save costume and then you can were the crown or the rare item. In my personal opinion is disappointing having something that you never earn and then that takes away all the fun from competitions from the game. I think that wend the game comes out Mm will block that feature (lets hope that happens) Anyways I dont want people to start loving this or hate it but just to be aware of it happening, I dont want to start a fight. Well I imagine you'll all get Beta Vest anyway, and some of you will get Bug Blaster, plus they'll probably be some LBP2 equivalent, so this is probably a taste of what's to come. I highly doubt you'll be banned unless you knew how to get it permanently and exploited that. And even then, that's what the BETA is for, to find this stuff. It would be much worse if no-one found this and it was in the full game. Don't worry about it.

I think you'd be more at risk for putting out the offending levels than playing them. Also, it's highly unlikely that this would transfer over to the retail copy of the game.

I'd wouldn't go that far, yes the beta is for testing but if I get scared when glitches like this and the god glitch are found, then I'm sure Mm get scared too. And if they're happy when every costume piece can be shared for free, I'd hate to know how they felt beforehand! I was salivating in the rarity of my costume today, only to find that everyone is wearing what I'm wearing. I feel so fashionable. >< This better be fixed soon!

I think the crown is a bit too common now...they need to make something like an emperor cape or something now. Well at least the beta won't transfer to LBP2 itself.

What TheWarlordBob is referring to is the fact that nothing from the beta will transfer over to the actual game when it's released. It's true that LBP content transfers to LBP2, but it's been stated already by Sony/Mm that nothing created or attained in the beta will be transferred to the game. Some of us had fleeting hopes that this decision would be reversed as a "Surprise! All that cool stuff you folks made in the beta will be yours to transfer over to keep and share in the full game!", but that was never a guarantee (just wishful thinking on our parts) and the God Glitch has completely ruined any chance of that happening unless Mm find a way to negate anything obtained with the glitch. I think it's humorous that people want crowns that they clearly didn't earn more than anything. As stated, crowns have kind of lost their flavour among the community due to them being given for sometimes silly reasons. I still don't understand why people want week one T-shirts as a costume piece (mostly becase it's just a t-shirt), but that's just me.

No, it's just costume data, and those who use copy of sackbot can only put sackbot costume with crown, but they can't put manually to them selfs since they don't have crown they only got costume with crown. Not to mention Beta is on separate Beta server so there none connection with LBP1 and future LBP2 since data will be wiped (at least this is MM statement) Imo people take this too seriously, this bug don't do any harm until it happens in Beta and what is more funnier they take this more seriously then god-glitch which was way more dangerous then this for everybody. I will say you the same thing what people said with god glitch, it's good that they did in beta then in the real game where it would be a problem, so don't panic just calm down. Also Beta already had more payed DLC leaked that transfer over would be bigger harm for MM (and Sony) then leak of a crown that is only symbolic reword

I think it's humorous that people want crowns that they clearly didn't earn more than anything. As stated, crowns have kind of lost their flavour among the community due to them being given for sometimes silly reasons. Indeed. The crown itself or the rarity of it isn't why I wear mine; it's hardly the best looking costume piece and I don't care if it's limited or if everyone has one. I wear it because of what it stands for, that it's a reward for something I put a lot of time and effort into. It doesn't bother me how other people have earnt theirs, but only how I earnt mine. I really can't understand why anybody would cheat to obtain a reward for something they never did in the first place. It's only of any value if it means something to YOU, and obtaining it by sharing completely defeats the whole point of wanting it to begin with. I imagine they will fix this in the full game but I don't think it's a very big deal.

Chances are this will be fixed by the time the game released. Seeing as how we can't carry our LBP2 Beta profile over to the LBP2 game (I don't think...) it shouldn't cause a problem. But yes, I agree, it's wrong that people are sharing such rare items to the point where you can't tell who actually deserves one anymore. Makes me sad. There's a Week 1 Shirt level as well. Never bothered to play any because I feel it's wrong to do such a thing. xD If I get a crown, I'd rather earn it then cheat my way to one.

LBP2: Where free DLC/Rare costume giveaway levels come true. In all seriousness the crown has just lost all value for me. I admit, I tried the level. Wore the crown... And I felt nothing. I didn't win it. It just felt like a 3D model in pixels and since everybody had one it didn't feel so special... I wrote a review on the level, on how it made me sad. Ironically me and my buddy (who didn't like to wear the crown) took a photo with the crown so I could show a friend who didn't have the beta. I just loaded LBP2 up just now and I had left the crown on!!! I don't know how the review pictures show up but I may of had my sackboy wearing a crown in the review! Whoever shared the crown around doesn't deserve to have one in the first place. But it's probably because someone nabbed it from a sackbot in create or through god glitch. EDIT: Good news, getting the crown this way does not unlock you the crown pin!

I would up in an argument over an old comment i left on a youtube video yesterday and he says someone has hacked (probably with that jailbreak thing idk, he mentioned an ISO) a way to get all DLCs (including the rares). Now I don't know if he meant this glitch thats happened today, Is messing with me or if this actually works for PSN. He didn't say if it was for LBP1 and/or 2 (beta or full version though if it works for 1 it'll definetly work for 2 since you transfer stuff over). But if what he says is true this could be really serious and could cost MM Thousands of dollars. My concern over Fullmoon last year is like a BB Gun compared to a Nuclear Weapon this problem could be.

I don't know why everyone cares so much about this glitch. I've had the rare Week 1 Shirt since LBP came out, and it doesn't bother me seeing other people get it now using this glitch. I mean, it's only for the Beta, and by the time the full game comes out, this will be patched, so why not just let people enjoy having the rare costumes for a short while?

Too much people get upset (and furious) about this glitch - everyone with crowns. But 90% of this persons will never had a good level (and eventually they lose their crowns). Me... i dont have a crown; but my biggest price is a good comment of my work. A good comment is positive things and the failures in my levels. They see the crown as a price.... but thats an empty item, because they dont get in the rigth way (We all know, so theres no discussion).
