Thanks to LBP.me we can easily shere pictures from the game, so why not make thread to show of you funny and epic pictures pictures

Here instaraction how to post pics from game without much hussle:

-Upload picture in the game to the LBP servers (Squere on picture and select Upload)
-Log in to LBP.me and go to your profile and click on Photos
-Click on selected Photo twice, in browsing and page showing photo
-Now you got picture directly opened in browser, copy the url (page address) that should end with *.jpg
-Paste you pictures here ueing tag

Nope, you can set the head to always be the same size and in that picture the sackbot is just huuuuge

In the picture where the wheelchairs weren't visible for Doopz I could see them, which is pretty weird.

the white back ground can be made with neon glass brightness at about 30-40, also i think the shiny is just that particular skin.

as for the pose hes doing, sackbots automatically do this sometimes, i think it might be a new version of that one where they look at themselves in amazement when they go on screen for the first time

I don't really take many pictures, but this is one I took after I got the Crown from a glitch level (don't hate, it's only temporary!).

I must say, though... I do like the new, improved size of LBP2's pictures. Much better for posting.

I posted this in the beta forum as well, i'll copy pasta what I said.

I think this is a new bug, though I might have just been ignorant to it.

Basically, pull a level 3 face, most angry, most smiley etc, talk as loud as you can into a mic, and when input is at maximum it closes the mouth fully but retains some of the pulls on the face allowing you to create some very...special...expressions.

Yes as said, neon material (brightness around 50%) on the background and the floor...
some lights in front of the sackboy could help too!

I took a picture with my sackboy turned 90? (sackbot with a gravity tweaker 100/100)...
so, the picture frame being rectangular, we can took the all body in a bigger size :

lol...but hey there's no need of camera!
Just a sackbot standing on and in front of neon glass and that's all, and you just take a picture normaly, as usual!

After that, if you want a specific pose, you can play with the sackbot animation type, record a movement, or make him look in the direction you want with tags, etc...

I'll probably give it a go myself then and hopefully it works out like you all and I'll publish it to help others (forgot that it would take up space lol so yeah i'll use up my free space instead of getting others to waste theirs

)

EDIT: ok Made the background and floor at about 40% (to keep some white clothes visible) and placed a sackbot with each animation type in there set to copy P1 costume...anything I'm missing?

- you can put a light (foginess 0%)) in front of the sackbots if you need to ligthen them up a little for example

- To take a picture vertically (bigger size), turn the sackbot 90? using gravity tweaker (100%/100%),
and choose the sackbot animation style so that he keep his head straight

- maybe you'll need to make several trials to get the right light, and the right shot.

Now you can make your sack pose!

Composite of four separate images to get the level of detail I wanted and background and color enhancement done in photoshop. To get this pose with his feet, I stuck a 0% gravity tweaker on a bot and stuck two platforms under him: one under each foot; at different heights. Sackboy's feet will stretch to reach a platform if he's just above it, so this gave me the effect of having his feet at different heights so it looks like he's stalking forward.

another thing...it's bugging me how sackboy makes that weird smile when his animation is any of the curators...basically ruins it for me whenever i want a smiling sackperson now i just keep their mouths shut lol

Sorry, I should've explained before.

1) Make a Sackbot with 2 behaviour chips (including the one that's already on it).
2) Set the first behaviour chip to be the default (no expression, Sackboy animation style).
3) Set the other behaviour chip to be whichever character animation you want (so if you wanted the "Eureka" pointing animation, you'd choose Da Vinci).
4) Place a Controlinator on the Sackbot's circuit-board that is set to Remote Control(via Closest Player).
5) Place an AND Gate, and hook L2 & R2 into it.
6) Wire the AND Gate you placed into the DEFAULT behaviour chip.
7) Wire the Triangle button into your ANIMATION behaviour chip.

Success! You've set up your Sackbot!
Now, onto getting the perfect picture...

1) Stand next to your Sackbot, and hit L2 & R2 (to reset his expression).
2) Open Popit, and choose the picture tool. Make sure it's centred on your Sackbot (but remember - you must be in-frame!).
3) Hit the X button to start the image countdown, and move away from the Sackbot (so you are now out of frame).
4) When appropriate, hit the Triangle button to start the animation. It might take a few tries for you to hit the button at the right time, because not every character style animates at the same speed, although most of the time, you probably want to take the image when the countdown is on 2.
5) Done! Repeat as necessary. Just change the 2nd behaviour chip to get a different animation style!

Enjoy, and if you use this technique, be sure to post some pics!

Pretty good, but when I do it I merge the little pieces into one so it takes less thermo and looks more flat. Then I sticker with the pic I took of it as separate pieces.

You don't have to do it that way, it's just what I do.

No, I meant I got that bug too, in the Monster Pack cave background, LBP2 beta 1.0. So it already exists in the old LBP1 then. I wonder if they fixed it now, it's a bit random to reproduce.

Hehe, that's weird. I encountered a bug in the LBP2 beta where my sackboy or some other object in the level would appear in the background by itself. My guess is that the sackboy somehow ended up in some buffer that is used to generate reflections.

You must have some kind of second sight!
