Driver failures.
Archive: 3 posts
Every time I try to launch a game, whether it be Left 4 Dead 2 to Minecraft, I always end up getting the same result. My monitor will start dying, so to say, then the screen goes black. Now I don't know if this is a graphics card, ram, or any other driver problem, but a message appears that reads, "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 258.96 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." I've googled this and yet it wields no honest solutions. They all show mixed answers and steps to potentially "solving" this problem. Any help I can get from fellow techies I greatly appreciate. If this problem doesn't find a solution... I think I'm just going to give up on PC games. | 2010-11-27 09:35:00 Author: illuminationx Posts: 860 |
