Now, you you may not all be familiar with the anime called Code Geass. Basically it is about (I won't reveal too much, you may find the episodes yourself and watch) Lelouch, a young and clever boy with a grudge against the Britannian Empire (which has conquered huge parts of the world). Along the way he acquires mystical powers and is now able to form some kind of uprise. I dunno, Code Geass was always something of a mixed bag for me. On one hand it had an interesting premise that mixed multiple anime genres without too much awkwardness as well as raised interesting questions in regards to morality and sociopolitical issues. On the other hand the gratuitous amount of fanservice, the ridiculous stylistic choices, the nonsensical and improbable events, and the latter part of R2 were pretty offputting. There's plenty of stuff that could be used for R3, but I'm not too sure it would be worth doing unless the creative team has gained a bit more maturity and tact along the way.

Actually, this has been known for about a year, moonwire. (<-- Has been floowing Code Geass closely. XD) Tho part of that vid is edited m8, R3 is nothing t do with LElouch, it supposedly deals with the events in "Code Geass - Shikkoku No Renya," a side story in a different era, new main char is Renya, a 17-year-old boy with a mechanical left arm and shuriken throwing stars as his weapons of choice. The story begins when Renya encounters a mysterious, perpetually young witch named "Reif? C.C." C.C. has appeared in Japan's historical Edo era to seek a new partner for a covenant. Meanwhile, a mysterious man, with a striking resemblance to the character Lelouch of the original anime, also appears with unknown intentions. @Dapiek: Fanservoce is basically in pretty much all anime nowdays, Code GEass' I'd say is pretty subtle for what they have in many series, most fans want it, and a only a few don't (like yerself) I don't think the makers are gonna change that to please the small crows that disliked it. Granted, "too much" fanservice can sometimes seem meh, and ruin some series, like "High School of the Dead," for example, great series....took fanservice too far, got cancelled, but CG seemed pretty balanced if you asked me, not too much or too forced. The ridiculous stylistic choices, and the nonsensical and improbable events are seen by many as the best points, people loved the series because of that a lot of the times( I know I did, along with the majority of people I know that have seen it. ) the umpredictability and stylishness reeled in a grand amount of the audience actually, so don't think they're dropping that either. XD (Really hope they don't wither.)

Well, the first season had it right as far as I can see, you can let the shower scene slip because bar that it's scarce. R2 threw that completely out the window though The way they make karin sit in her mech is the most ridiculous one I reckon. Anyway, CG is perhaps my favourite anime, up there with Hellsing Ultimate and Death note so heres to hoping they don't completely ruin it!
