I would really like a glowing material, working in the same way as the lights in LBP, but being able to make whatever shape. Just hoping it'll exist sometime. Tell me if you'd like it or not, thanks.

There is the white hot metal I think it is called... It basically looks pink until you choose the color and light level etc.. If I recall correctly, it also has an off and on state for the light.

Yup, white hot metal is the material you are after. All the same tweaks as lights (on and off colours and intensities, player colour and dimmer or on/off settings on the input)

Theres also be more materials that have tweakable light (that can be turn off and on via wire), for example via god glitch leaked the bounder light material (like MGS) that have metalic look on the inside (currently this material name is unknown), i suppose there will be more of those in full game

Since the update white hot metal has been renamed "Neon", i suppose it fits in better to the Glass category than something called "metal"...

I think everyone has seen it but in a screen-shot I saw there was a materiel very similar to the one shadowriver is talking about but when you put something behind it creates a image of the thing behind it with an outline(with the same style as the MGS pack metals edges). As you can see it's kinda hard to explain...
