So Wallstreet took like 25 years to make a sequel and now TRON is coming out 28 years later with a sequel! Is that the longest between movie and sequel ever? And I just watched the original tron last night, and wow it is not as crazy cool as I remembered it being. Kind of like watching Indiana Jones' again, the dialogue is SOOO cheesey, but still entertaining.

Surprised no one has ever mentioned "Poor Cow" (1967), which had Terence Stamp's character revisited in Soderbergh's 1999 film "The Limey" (33 years).

(but they really outdid themselves with The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2). What's next? Jesus 2 : The Return ?

And there's the Blade Runners Sequel/prequel ( Ridley Scott: "Whatever, who cares - I could stick two fingers up to the camera for 90 minutes and you'd still all go and see it!") Why can't they let things rest in piece?! All it does is sully the memory of the original
