i've been having problems making cutouts for my characters, so can someone give me tips on how to make a clear cutout with no edges and stuff like that

Make your cutout as big as possible when you're working on it, then scale it down when you're done? Although, if you're going to do this, you have to leave some large gaps between each corner, otherwise you can't scale it down. That's what I've always done, and always had some nice results. I don't really think there are any other tips I could give you, other than just make sure you don't have a silly background colour when you take the photo. Black Sackboy boots on a black background is a pain in the butt.

i've been having problems making cutouts for my characters, so can someone give me tips on how to make a clear cutout with no edges and stuff like that Take the picture as close as possible then blow them up real big to get the little detailed spots. don't just start at one corner and try to match the exact shape the first time. corner edit in stages where you start with the basic shapes and add corners evenly around the picture. this prevents the sticker from shifting. Think about what color you want the edges to be before you make the cut out so you can make a back drop for the pic.

Use the object tool to cut out a very basic outline, then come in with the corner editor. Use dissolve/blue wood for the most accuracy.
