Leave racing to the racetrack in my opinion.

Sorry, but this is pretty irresponsible. You guys are the reason why my insurance premium is so **** high!

So, the ****** economy, Iraq war, Afghanistan, Capitalistic downturn/trough, terrorist attacks, unnecessary government spending, poor choices, type of car, your age, and every other factor that goes into determining the cost of your insurance doesn't count, or is raised significantly because there are a few people who like to street race?

Or, to rephrase Bremnen's statement slightly: Statistically, what are the chances of being hit by street racers vs being hit by an average driver on the road? Or someone from your own personal demographic screwwing up and crashing the car themselves?

This sort of thing does make me chuckle though, simply because it makes me think of the kind of people that do this sort of thing, and they make me chuckle... Though not to their faces, lest I get "juxxed up"

Why should only insurance companies get to discriminate against age and gender? It ain't fair! I think its time we teach them a lesson.

My wife bought me my dream car last year....88 Chrysler Conquest TSI in Fiji Blue!! Don't hate, its RWD, Turbo w/ Front mount intercooler and limited slip and that is entirely in stock condition!

BUT I will certainly take it to one of the open tracks we have in WA state and not on the open road. I can only imagine if there was an accident and it involved one of my three little girls. There is a reason why they call it reckless driving.

I HAVE THE NEED FOR SPEED!! I just choose to do it the responsible way :star::star::star::star::star: <3

Make sure you don't crash your car on a racetrack tho. A lot of insurance companies won't cover you under those circumstances or even it if it is a pre-planned race on the road.2010-11-23 22:01:00

Luckily theres not many walls with the exception of the straightaway. This one is called Spokane Raceway Park, bout a 4 hour drive from me. There are several more in Washington, but this is the only one with the least restrictions and has the availability for the public.

And no its not my EXACT car, but same model/year/color. Mine has a few blemishes and slightly lower

Good point. You could have phrased it in a nicer way though.

Oh boy! More people for my dad to use his police baton on!...

Please, leave racing to the professionals. Street racing (over stateside) is an illegal sport that can lead to fatal injury and damage of public property. You don't get ticketed; you go to jail.

You've been warned.

Yea well, statistically, street racers are the least of your worries on the road.
(Maybe not least but..close enough)

Here's what I get upset about....The parents crying out in the streets where these dummies get killed "Oh my baby!!! Why did It have to be my Baby!!!?? why god why!!??" and then litter the area with flowers and stuffed animals. I'm the father of two kids , and I will die before I let themselves self-destruct like these kids do. Granted most of the time when I hear/see these tragedies on the news/out my front door, it's because of irresponsible teen punks with a steering wheel in one hand and a beer or a cell phone in the other.2010-11-26 15:26:00
