Chain Reaction is a platformer type level with chains!
Ive always wanted to create a level using large chains so i thought id give it a go!
I tried to make most of them look ok and wanted to make the chains have different effects throughout the level.
I have kept the visuals very plain as i didnt want to go into great detail with this one.

This level was on my moon for some time and was just an outline of the start so i decided that i will complete it for LBP1 before LBP2 comes out so here it is.

I want this level to be one that people come back to. Not too long or not too short. Just an enjoyable easy level to play (I hope)

Hey Fendy!! I played today and I loved it! Great variety of platforms, including some awesome jumps!
Very clasic gameplay and simple visuals that create a great atmosphere. I loved the r1 shooting system, and the giant chains!
Overall a super-fun level, yes... very fun, which is the ONLY important thing in a game...

Just played it!

I could tell the main point of this level was just to have fun platforming that flowed well, and I think you definitely pulled that off. The only thing I can really say is the repetitive visuals, it just got a bit bland at some points when it was all one material.

+Liked the design of the level looked really good
+The platforming was also fun and I enjoyed it alot
+Like the whole chain idea of the level and how you stuck with it
+Visuals looked good also

Just played! I thought that maybe fender had finally run out of those fun and awesome obstacles you put in your levels, but no, this was another fun experience. It was a fun 10 minutes of gameplay, always on the move, always pulling a switch or jumping over a spinning drill. The only problem I could find is that sometimes the HUGE chain looked a little bit too obnoxious, but besides that there was nothing I have to complain about. :star::star::star::star: and a half, and a <3.2010-11-24 03:28:00

I managed to get myself stuck so I couldn't continue the level any further. I was in a very tall room that filled with water. There were two platforms that raised and I was suppose to switch layers as one passed by the other. I accidentally didn't jump on the 2nd one and the only checkpoint I had check at that point was the one in the water. It didn't appear as if the platforms had any sort of reset incase the player accidentally fell into the water like I did. I did swim around to see if I was missing something but there was a large invisible wall blocking off the area I was previously in. I'll try and upload a picture later showing where I was, because I know this may not be a very clear description of my location. Other than that, what I played so far was good.2010-11-24 07:07:00

youve done it again made a fun platformer that flows from start to finish and is alot of fun to play! It is a quite plain looking level but thats the look you went for so no problems there. I love the way you use the oversized chains to move you around and lift platforms to the next section. I think youve gotten alot better with the gameplay side of LBP, and youve worked it very well into your new platforming style.


Overall 5 stars and a big heart from me

Awesome level Fend, great job with having chains being the main visual focus, the level played great and it was enjoyable, I didn't run into any bugs but I do have one suggesion, on the part where you use the 3 way switch to move the elevator down to activate the 2 switches, maybe have some sort of fail safe bc I went down with the elevator and as I got off the lever swung a little moving the elevator without me on it. Some players may be going a little fast and accidentally get themselves stuck with the elevator up too high. I mean, they could just pop themselves and jump down onto the elevator,but it's something to consider 2010-11-24 15:18:00

Yeah, she did it again.
Another platformer and another strike.
A fun level that is stylish, full of jump, switches and thing that unexpectedly blast through the level.
This level is fun to play, and catches you off guard many times, and it's what LBP should be about. 		2010-11-24 19:49:00

Hello Fenderjt,
Nice level with good visuals, a cool theme, and like everyone else said...FUN. Here are some Pros and Cons.

Pros:
+I liked how most of the chains were completely involved in the gameplay. Wheather you were grabbing em, walking on them, or being used to hoist you somewhere; it really was a chain reaction.
+The level gameplay was well thought out, there was always something going on. No boring areas and at the same time not over done.
+The icon was very good looking, caught my eye right away. I wanted to play it before even knowing what the level is about...good marketing

Cons:
-Not really a con but as mentioned before, there were a few areas that I almost missed the elevator. Didnt happen to me, but maybe a lesser sack would be SOL.

Thank you for putting time into a quality level, I enjoyed the play. As for F4F, any or all of the levels under My Creations 		2010-11-24 22:07:00
