Hello all =) I have a question to those with the beta regarding the Level warp Badges. Is it possible to have the Badge warp you to a specific area of a level instead of the beginning of it? If this were possible it would open up so many more possibilities for a creator. Warp zones, bonus games/areas, hidden rooms and treasures, etc. If this isn't an option, could someone post on the beta forum suggesting it be implemented? I think its a definite must-have option for these badges. Thanks =)

No, all the level warps do is take you to a new level without returning to the pod, so what would really matter is where the starting checkpoint of the new level is at. As for the beta forums...I'm not exactly the most active over there. Erm, somebody else wanna do it?

The Level Links are essentially teleporters between levels. Using them inside a level would be redundant and a waste of Level Links, as we are only allotted a set amount of them on our moons (or so I believe). It's much easier and "space friendly" to just use teleporters inside your level for the purposes your suggesting. There are some great non-lethal teleporter technologies being used now, and this is a great method for what you are looking for.

If I recall, this is all tied in with allotted amount of publishing space on our planets. I think we have 20 slots for levels in LBP and 20 for lbp2, but I can't remember exactly how links tie in to that memory amount, but I think it's treated separately. Might be something like 10 slots? I tried looking for the thread but I think it was in the "Our Lips Are Officially Unsealed" thread... which is at least 50 pages long. I'll look again but the sites search button isn't very reliable.
