I've had Rainmeter for quite a while now, and I just wanted to share it with the rest of the (LBPCentral) world! What is Rainmeter you ask? Rainmeter - Rainmeter is a desktop customization platform. Through Rainmeter, you can enhance your Windows computer at home or work with skins: handy, compact applets which float freely on your desktop, much like Windows Sidebar gagdgets, or dashboard widgets for the Mac. Rainmeter skins provide you with useful information at a glance. It's easy to keep an eye on your system resources, like memory and battery power, or your online data streams, including email, RSS feeds, and weather forecasts. Many skins are even functional: they can record your notes and to-do lists, launch your favorite applications, and send your tweets to Twitter - all in a clean, unobtrusive interface that you can rearrange and customize to your liking http://i51.tinypic.com/w8290k.jpg | 2010-11-22 00:41:00 Author: illuminationx Posts: 860 |
Meh Im not that much of into sidebars or fancy desktop stuff, it usually eats up alot of system memory and that annoys me, still its kinda good if you are really into stuff like facebook or twitter i guess. | 2010-11-22 00:46:00 Author: Ragnarok Posts: 898 |

Lol it's existence isn't based on looking fancy and what-not. It's more of.... "Ease of access" that you can customize to your preference and what you need and where you need it. It also keeps you up to date on what goes on with your PC like battery life(For laptops), CPU usage, and multiple driver disk space. And waste of system memory? Puh-lease... I have about 400 GB's of disk space to spare. I use multiple Hard Drives... Lol. | 2010-11-22 00:56:00 Author: illuminationx Posts: 860 |
