Just a suggestion, but maybe Burnout Paradise? I know its been released enarly a year ago, but Criterion are still producing free content for it, including 4 new packs in February, which may be of interest.2008-11-02 14:34:00

They ARE releasing a repackaging of Burnout Paradise called Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box. You could put that on the list.
Maybe put Mirror's Edge on there somewhere? The demo was really fun.
Wii Music looks like a good music game for kids.
Need for Speed Undercover also looks like a pretty cool racing game.
Oh, and why do you have Animal Crossing: City Folk as an RPG? It's absolutely nothing like one. o_o

Don't forget Valkyria Chronicles and The Last Remnant under RPG, Red Alert 3 for those after a new RTS, and Mirror's Edge for action.

There are a lot more that you could add to the list, but there are still too many unknowns that could go either way at this stage for my liking. Even if people were to just stick to the top-notch titles that have already been released we'd still have an incredibly full plate this Christmas.

It's a bit sad to think there are a lot of some good games that at any other time would be seen as a very decent investment, but are simply going to fall by the wayside in light of the sheer landslide of games coming out.

I forgot mirrors edge, my bad. Animal crossing is an RPG but not the level up, upgrade your charcter RPG. RPG's come in many flavors, AnimAl Crossing is a type of RPG. ALSO Iwill need at least one other RTS/Strategy game to put Red Alert 3 up. I didn't see that burnout paradise ultimate thing on any site, so it wont be going up.2008-11-02 15:44:00

Eh, I still think AC being in the RPG section is misleading. People could see it, and buy it, expecting a traditional RPG. While Animal Crossing fits into the RPG genre by definition, the genre has evolved so that the whole leveling up deal is pretty much the only recognized type of RPG. If you keep AC on the RPG section, I think you should note it's not a traditional RPG. It's more of a sim game.
And yeah, Valkyria Chronicles and The Last Remnant looks great, and should be on the list.

Valkyria Chronicles definitley but The Last Remnant wont be that great. It doesn't do anything different. It's traditional and the story isn't too engrossing. The only reason Lost Odyssey wasn't kicked to the curb was the amazing graphics and amazing story telling.

Anyone who buys it based on that and with no further information deserves to be stripped of their money anyway. A simple look at the box art will tell you it isn't that kind of game. Guitar Hero On Tour Decades is out for the DS shortly. Only thing that struck me as not being on there so far off the top of my head.

I thought the first one was okay and I dont think new songs will make it any better. I'm only putting games on here that I KNOW will be great. ALSO, I love your sig.

Add Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts to that list.

Good one. I put it under platformers, should it be under racing?

True, I suppose. xD

The game's not released, so until then, we can't be positive the story isn't good.
And traditonal? While it doesn't seem like a totally new experience, it does seem to be innovative enough to be fun, and the whole union thing looks cool, along with the morale system. But alright, it's your list. Just saying that I personally think The Last Remnant deserves to be on the list.

IGN has it categorized as a platformer. http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/015/015334.html

also...

You should add 1 paragraph descriptions to each of your games, that way people know what they're buying.

I'm pretty sure I established that I always did that in the first post.

I only trust Sonic games on the DS. After the horrible Sonic The Hedgehog, I just can't do it. It does look good but so did Sonic The Hedgehog. I hope it is good, SEGA needs to get their act together.

Alright, fair enough. While the 2-D segments look really good, the Werehog portion could go either way.
