Different jump mechanics

i was just wondering if some kindly creator/s could perhaps put together a vid or two to demonstrate a variety of jump mechanics ![]() | 2010-11-21 15:58:00 Author: GribbleGrunger ![]() Posts: 3910 |
I think I have some in my channel, like the panda flip in my panda fighter http://www.youtube.com/user/MrFoofles?feature=mhum#p/u/6/gUfwNwlalD4 and I recently saw something from donkeyshow / gevurah22 with a double jump. Both pretty easy to make. If you have any trains of thought in mind in particular I could put something together. | 2010-11-21 17:07:00 Author: Foofles ![]() Posts: 2278 |

I have a glide mechanic for a Spyro sackbot. No video. Just know that it can be done! | 2010-11-21 17:57:00 Author: Jedi_1993 ![]() Posts: 1518 |
Like most things in LBP, there aren't any set "jump mechanics" built in, all you have is a huge toolset of signal processors, movers, rotators, anti-gravity tweaks, etc. etc. etc. so the sky's really the limit and you can make anything you can script out ![]() | 2010-11-21 18:09:00 Author: Foofles ![]() Posts: 2278 |
yeah, i can think of all sorts myself, but it's nice to actually see how well it looks/works ![]() | 2010-11-21 18:12:00 Author: GribbleGrunger ![]() Posts: 3910 |

So it does have some built-in jump mechanics, but the best thing to do is create a sackbot and learn to use logic ![]() Edit: This video has a good variety of mechanics for you to see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EN___viyj4 | 2010-11-21 18:15:00 Author: thor ![]() Posts: 388 |
Would you mind posting the link to the video, Thor? My iPad doesn't show embedded videos. | 2010-11-21 18:40:00 Author: Super_Clone ![]() Posts: 849 |
