You can attach wire to various gadgets and gizmos to tweak certain setting real time, but sometimes that is not enough as you want to control something completely different or multiple things same time. To allow this MM could turn the normal settings of objects to microchip-like material where all the settings would be actually a non-removable components that have input allowing to control them.

Oh, that. Oh you mean control like sackbot tweaking, well its something that can be put on debate, but i don't know if it fits into simplicity policies off MM since then every object would be microchip (including tweakble materials).You can do a lot with current "Input Action"

I don't think adding this would contribute a great deal to the game, tbqh. The only time when individual tweaks matter, really, is on a sackbot; and you can have multiple behaviour chips on it to make those differentiations.
