Still not sure what the difference is 2. In a state of shock at the difference and can't believe it As long as it's not ridiculously overpriced I'll be getting it.

Apparently if you preorder in SCEE CE it still comes with Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank costumes, and anyway you can always get Sackboy plushie off play.com for about 5-6 pounds

XD it's teh rlyz saxboy in teh rlyz worldz But for real CEs are extended merchandise editions of the game that extends the value of product they buying and if people buy them it's mostly for such things. So Europe CE is surly inferior to NA and some people will not be happy from that

I'm pretty sure Mm and the many thousands of people buying costume packs would disagree with you there. Just because you don't see the value in it doesn't mean it's not there. For many of us costumes are just as creative as levels or the objects inside them. Now, with sackbots on the loose... EVERYTHING is about to change where costumes are concerned. Costumes are finally an integral part of creating immersive levels now, with the ability to create a plethora of great characters to help drive stories and levels. How this could be seen as just something pretty to look at anymore is baffling to me. In the right hands, great costumes will make good levels even better.

I'm pretty sure that in the recent (official LBP site) new post that a bigger edition will be avalible in some parts of the EU. This was just the core edition. Fingers crossed it's something good! EDIT: If the core edition is the only collectors edition down here then I'm just buying it and buying a sackboy... watchamacallit.

Certainly didn't read that as being a joke, and DEFINITELY wasn't trying to show you up or anything. Merely thought you were arguing against costumes and I was arguing for. I've seen quite a few people who really do think the costumes are irrelevant and poke fun at those who enjoy them... just trying to illustrate that they actually serve a much better purpose now than they did before. No offense intended... that's for sure. I guess if you'd put (sarcastic) in there I would have read that a little differently.

If I pre-order a game, I expect it on the day of release. If I pre-order a game from outside my country (as in, via play.com) I expect within a week, at most. Not THREE weeks after. So, yeah. You can take your play.com and I'm sure you'll be able to finish that sentence however you like. Any store in the Netherlands is not an option either. If they can get away with asking between 70 and 80 Euro for this so-called Collector's Edition (guesstimate (wait, guesstimate is an actual word? It's not caught by my spell-checker. o___0)), then don't expect anything good from the expanded CE. And don't expect it to be available in all European countries either. Basically, when they say Core CE, they mean "Version for all countries, other than the UK, Germany and France. They get something extra, because they're... big, we guess? It's just a pain to cater to all of Europe.". Yes, I'm somewhat bitter.
