Is there a glitch level giving out invisible grabbable thin material?

Archive: 8 posts

I really would like an easier way to make a thin layer, invisible material which is grabbable and fairly easy editable e.g size and shape etc. Is there a glitch level that someones giving away this anyone can recommend?

Or anyother idea/s to make this?

Im using one but it comes as the basic yellow grabble material and when i change the material to the basic white grabbable material and try and rotate the size etc its very annoying as if you make it too small you can't grab it etc.

Im basically trying to make a rope you can grab along therefore making the material invisible gives the best look.

Thanks in advance

I have no idea. If you're making a rope (I assume you're using a string for visuals, yes?) make a long thin piece of dissolve a bit longer than the rope is, and then shrink it until it turns invisible, and then stick it on.2010-11-20 20:48:00

I would get theck material, any grabbable material, shrink it down, press um, was it L3 to copy it, enlarge it, and paste on the smaller piece. Then shrink the large piece again, copy, paste a bigger block on it, and shrink again. Repeat these steps and eventually you'll get invisible material. I'm not sure if you can corner edit it when its invisible, but do edit it while it's still visible. You have to box select it to select it, and making the piece larger will make it visible again. That's how you get invisible, thin, grabbable material. 2010-11-21 02:11:00

Here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=17759-Creating-Editable-Invisible-Material-In-Seconds) is Incinerators guide to invisible materials, he also has a guide to theck (which you should use) in his sig, so I'd check that out too. 2010-11-21 03:57:00

How do I turn this invisible material onto the thin layer. As i want it to be grabbable but thin layered?

Thanks

use thin-thick (theck, thack whatever they call it now) dissolve and then do the shrink process. that way you can't stand on it, or collide with it, but you can grab it.2010-11-21 14:35:00

I'm pretty sure there is no way to create grabbable material on the thin layer. Theck is the thinnest layer that a sackboy can grab. If it must be on the thin layer, then you're looking to do something that cannot realistically be achieved and you'll need to go back to the drawing board to redesign or reconceptualise your level.
