About my absence from LBPC

I'm not sure if you've noticed or not (I tend to work in the background), but I've been away from LBPCentral for a while (nearly four weeks now). I haven't been slacking or putting off work, though - I have mono (A.K.A. "gland fever" overseas). For the past month or so, I've spent nearly every day in bed, either sleeping or, when I have the energy, playing video games to fill time. I haven't been to school, I haven't seen my friends, I haven't been out of the house at all. It's really been terrible. Some days are better than others though, and today was good enough that I decided to hop on and take a quick look, see how much residual work is piling up. I'm hoping I'll get better soon so I have the energy to address that stuff. Until then, the rest of the staff knows I'm sick, and they've been more than helpful in filling in the gaps while I've been gone, so - at least until I get better - if you want your issue dealt with quickly, they're the ones to talk to.

I've never had mono, but I know it's pretty awful. I have had many things wrong with me that lasted a long time, though, so I can empathize with that. I hope you get better soon. Being sick for a long time is extremely depressing. 2010-11-21 14:28:00

Wow... That's bad. I have no idea what mono means (i know it means "1" in latin... i guess) but im sure it must be horrible. Illnesses always are bad ( Unless they keep you away from school but NOT from videogames, that's not that bad )

Okay, so I'm back - sort of. I'm still sick, but I'm tired of being in bed, so I'm putting as much energy into being productive as I can. I have a ton of PMs to deal with (which I will get to - each and every one, promise!) and I need to catch up on stuff I've missed, but as far as LBPC is concerned, I'm back from the dead and ready to tackle the miscellany I was responsible for before I was temporarily incapacitated.
