Jack of Trades

Hi this is my best platformer level so far. I'd say it took about a week to make and has had many updates. I don't think there are any flaws left but I'd love any feedback I can get.

The story goes: One day a hero (you) appears to the sky people. They beckon you to help them, for they have just had an encounter with the Jack of Trades (dun-dun duhhh). He is a sinister mastermind pretending to be a trades person but destroys everything he touches. After tricking the sky people, saying that he could do some repairs on their village, they soon come to realize that they had been scammed. They tried to find him but he had already left, but they soon got word that he was staying at the flying hotel. Eager for revenge they hire you to make him pay for what he has done. So put on you working boots and walk through an oriental themed village, trudge trough a fire infested cave and get shot into the sky for an epic journey from the ground up!

From the thumbnails the level looks pretty good I am feeling that oriental theme for it and it is looking well executed.

I must recommend that you add some more info on what the story is about, how difficult the level is and general chat like that to bulk up your thread. Other than that the level is looking pretty Awesome! I'll check it out next time I'm on! 		2010-11-20 00:53:00

Got a chance to try your level and have to say your artistic side of you showed through your level. Very creative and original. I'm assuming the hand with the hammer signifies "Jack of Trades" signature of what powers he has if you were to challenge him. He'll smash you if you dare, so don't. Just a guess(if not desregard).

I really enjoyed the theme of your level. Every scene went well together and offered a touch of that oriental atmosphere. Nice touch. I liked the up-and-down boulder challenge to get to the next room. Also Nice( My level has one as well). I can't really say anything negative about your level except the ending. I was quite disappointed to not have a sneak as to what the Jack of Trades might look like. But I believe that was intentional . Making me want more with anticipation for your Part 2. Overall a well made level.:star::star::star::star::star: and <3 from me

Thanks for all the complements and sorry i had to disappoint with a to be continued ending. I'll be finished the next one soon i think, most of it is done just a bit more. I'll be sure to play your level this afternoon2010-11-24 12:39:00

Hey no problem. Unfortunately I had my level moderated for what reason, IDK. Well I was able to publish it again after breaking down my level to bits and pieces. That nearly took 2 1/2 hours to do and I can't seem to figure what was being moderated since everything I've used is either bought or made on my own. This angered and frustrated me considering how many hearts and plays I lost.
