Should LittleBigPlanet have had Enemies? Will It?
Archive: 16 posts
Hey guys. I'm just in love with LBP, and think it's just amazing. I've just been thinking about what enemies would have brought to the table though. Is this game good enough without them? Would it be that much better with them? What are your thoughts on this? I personally don't mind at all, although in making my Mario Level, I'd love to be able to create baddies like in the actual game. Would look amazing too. What do you think? Baddies always add a little flair to a game. I've kinda been looking at LittleBigPlanet as sort of a loose reinvention of LocoRoco, in that the main objective is to get to the end of a stage. Putting baddies in sparsely would be great. Not only that, but finding ways to dispose of them too. For instance, smothering them with flowers, or hitting them with the recoil of a lever, or something. | 2007-06-30 22:59:00 Author: GregBackwards Posts: 12 |
of course it will, i think | 2007-06-30 23:05:00 Author: mokmokmok Posts: 9 |
co-op boss fights would be fun, but I really would like this game to be puzzle based. Another game could be a physics based rpg | 2007-07-01 00:02:00 Author: Reshin Posts: 1081 |
it would make it a bit more challenging, but its nothing that cant be accomplished | 2007-07-01 00:23:00 Author: raise_the_roof Posts: 44 |
Probably... for instance, in Mario, most of the enemies are simply moving objects which you can't touch. I would expect them to put in an object which you aren't allowed to touch for some reason in the game. We have already seen that we can give blocks the ability to move back and forth, creating lifts or shoving characters off ledges... There have been a lot of calls for enemies, but I think we are most likely to see team versus team games, rather than players versus computer opponents, if anything. If death makes a feature in the game, then we will be able to construct manic deathtrap dungeons or lemmings-type levels, too. If there is no death, then enemies simply become mobile obstacles... I think they should be an OPTION, rather than something all levels MUST have. that way there is more variety. | 2007-07-01 13:47:00 Author: potatoman Posts: 5 |
Maybe they will add it towards the single player mode, I mean playing single player needs a lil action to it right? | 2007-07-03 13:09:00 Author: ReignOfDeath Posts: 466 |
Well, in the community service it will lol, everyone will be competing to make their lives into the top of the list | 2007-07-08 09:43:00 Author: JakeG Posts: 30 |
well if they alow where you can make a spawning poit to constantly spawn an objet you could well.. EXample: make a ball with eyes and teeth and make it spawn over and over on top of a hill you have to clibe. so now you got baddie balls rolling down the hill, knocking you back down if it hits you XD told you my imagination is dangerious | 2007-07-09 06:17:00 Author: Little Crow Posts: 198 |
