This is a recreation of Gripple Grapple, a LittleBigPlanet 2 level showcasing the new Grappling Hook and Bounce Pads. I thought to myself, "Why not make a level?" Then, came the brief flashback of what I had to go through to make an original level of my own. I decided to hold back on that until the next game. Another idea hit me. I remembered seeing advertisements about a Crown Contest being hosted on Sacktastic, a new LittleBigPlanet fansite. I looked through and to my delight, the objective was to build a replica of a level shown off in any piece of footage from LittleBigPlanet 2. I had gone off my computer and went straight to work... Five custom materials and switches, thiry-five custom stickers and decorations, one Larry Da Vinci, one Grappling Hook mechanism, and about two and a half months later, the level was complete. I put a whole lot of effort into this one, and while I wish that there was more time to build, I am still very pleased with how the level turned out. :star::star::star: A very nice albeit short replica of an LBP2 level. The grappling hook that you created was FANTASTIC. I loved the way it worked. I do suggest some sort of reset for it though, it was kinda weird how it just stayed there. The visuals were very accurate to the level video you posted, and that is a huge plus for the competition you are entering. My main qualm was the levels length. Just because the video cut off there doesn't mean you have to! Make up some original and fun gameplay elements and throw them in. Can you F4F my level, If Trees Could Speak?

+ Great grapple! - The thin layer fences have slightly rounded edges. (above the black sponge) - The large cog after that bit needs to be darker. - The level doesn't end there! :o If you watch the end of the vid, you can see another pendulum! Most visuals are spot on. The biggest thing wrong with the level.. no camera zones! Watch the vid and see where they zoom out. The grapple alone is worth checking this level out. Nice job.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I was actually planning on doing all that you recommended, but with school (I can only use the PlayStation 3 on weekends), family, friends, making it into the Beta, etc. It was hard to find time to work on my entry. I'm not using this an excuse, I know I'm at fault for not making time. I'm sure that everyone else had the same problem. It's all part of the chalenge.
